Marshalls — Local services in Moscow

Great brands at not so fair prices. I have noticed a tremendous increase in prices in the last few weeks. Probably a result of increasing economic impacts and fuel charges, but I think the price hike is more than a bit excessive as it's far higher than Ross,Walmart, Bed Bath &Beyond, Old Navy, or other retail stores in our area. I believe the price hike has a lot more to do with corporate decisions than economic necessity. And therefore I will be shopping at Marshalls less. This does not have anything whatsoever to do with the staff. They are great, courteous and helpful. But in Moscow Idaho the prices are going sky high. They are comparative to Pier 1, and these are not the same quality or style for the season products. The last basket I got to put my wash cloths in started unraveling after a month. And let's face it, it isn't the humidity here in Moscow Idaho. As a middle aged woman, I do look for value, and I used to find it at Marshalls. I guess from now on I will have to look elsewhere. I would really like to complain to HR if it was easier to find the info. I shop at this store regularly and the past two times I have visited in the last month come to find out it’s the manager who’s name is Taylor that I’ve over heard harassing other employees and treating them like garbage in front of customers when they were only doing their job and were super friendly with me in helping me find the curtains I was looking for. But to come in more than once to see this manager treating multiple employees like garbage, but twice to be snapping her fingers and reprimanding them is WRONG! This woman needs to be stepped down or out! Anyone else shop here and ever hear her harassing employees who are working hard at their jobs? She needs to...

To say that I love this store would be an understatement. I have always enjoyed going to other stores such as Ross and TJ Maxx but Marshalls is to me A step above that even. They have a great selection of mid to Upper end clothing and apparel and accessories. From Nike Adidas Tommy Hilfiger Calvin Klein the list goes on and on and on I think you get the idea. And when they put stuff on clearance wow you can't not buy it. I go into Marshalls looking for let's say a pair of socks and I walk out of Marshalls with four or five other items in addition to the socks all at a great price that you cannot find unless you go on the Internet or something.
