Very on the fence about this place. I'm a country girl, and every time I come in here I get weird looks from the employees like they are wondering if I'm in the right place. It has a very snoody and uppity feel to it. I love what they offer, but I don't care for how they offer it. Anyways. I was in on 12/28/22 with a gift card to spend. I made that known a few times during my visit. But when I went to check out the clerk kept pushing the bogo however much off. Ended up talking me into signing up for the credit card even though I told her my situation and that i wouldnt get approved. Even after being denied the credit card she Still Kept Pushing the second pair of jeans. By this time there were other people waiting to be checked out. After about the 10th time of telling her the only form of payment I had was my gift card she finally got the point and let me go with the jeans that I wanted. Needed to do a quick return exchange in the Moscow store as I travel 99% of the time for work, I had misplaced my receipt. I was told by the rep the Moscow and Lewiston don't do returns without a receipt because the are high volume stores. ( must be nice to be so far above the rest in volume, customer service isn't important) I just did an exch. In baker where they accessed my receipt archive without problem. Since I got great care in the Baker store I spent more than I went in for and signed up for the Maurices card. Now the inconsistency and assoc. not able to utilize the system, I am rethinking my decision. We came in yesterday for my sister's styling appointment. They had the room ready for her and a wonderful selection of clothes ready for her to try on. Ava was a blessing. She was friendly, courteous and very helpful in finding the correct sizes, styles and colors. She even made a suggestion of a dress that looked incredible on my sister.
