Good food, worst service in the area. 4 times in a row I’ve ordered online for pickup and have had nothing but bad experiences.
The last time I ordered from them, the app told me my order would be ready in 6-11 minutes. I showed up after 9 minutes and they had no record of my order. They looked in their system and found that they were actually supposed to have my order ready 34 minutes after I placed it, and they told me they weren’t allowed to make it any earlier than that and that I had no choice but to sit and wait.
The time before that, I placed my order and went to the store. I waited in their pickup area while they served every single customer who walked into the store, including several who came in long after me. Finally, after 12 minutes of waiting, they came over to me and the 4 pickup customers waiting in line behind me. It turned out that my meal was already packed and sitting on their counter, and had been since before I arrived. If someone had taken 30 seconds to deal with their pickup customers (whose orders are already ready to go), I could have enjoyed a nice warm dinner.
Each time I’m considering ordering, I convince myself that the last time must have just been bad luck. I’m done convincing myself and I’m done shopping at Panda Express. They don’t apologize when orders go wrong like this—this is a normal level of service to them. If you like watching other people get their food while you wait for half an hour for yours, or if you like ice cold chow mein, Panda might be the right place for you. Otherwise, I think you should skip...
Read morePanda Express is an establishment I am very familiar with, I have ventured to this Californian made restaurant for lunch and dinner many times, and for the most part it is pretty good (make sure the food is fresh though)
But one distinct time I came I had a very poor experience that haunts me in my dreams, let me explain, it was any ordinary day and I went to panda for lunch. Previously I had never had a problem with costumer service but this was different. After receiving my food and sitting down I realized I forgot to ask for chopsticks, so I went to the person checking people out to get chopsticks. As I walked up he was in the midst of checking someone out, I waited patiently for him to finish, while the person paying was digging through their wallet for their credit card the man at the register looked at me, thinking I could ask for the chopsticks I asked. Even though this man could have easily handed me chopsticks he instead said “please wait a moment” then he looked away and waited for the person to get their credit card. In my mind I was thinking, how rude! But alas he eventually gave me my chopsticks, and he handed them to me like I had just been an annoying customer (I said everything kind and polite!) then my fortune was, make it a win win situation….is that even a fortune? More like a recommendation.
Now to finish off this review is the mobile orders. Be warned this restaurant prioritizes mobile orders over in store customers, expect to wait on some random persons...
Read moreIt all starts as a typical Saturday college night, I was hungry, and lots of places around my area were closed or almost closed. Being in school, I didn't really have a car at the moment so I hoped to have my food delivered, from Panda Express, but unfortunately, I found out that they do not do regular deliveries unless it's through Door Dash. I was in a pickle because my order was already done and it was too late to cancel it. So I decided to call to see if there was any way I could still get my order delivered to me and thank goodness for Juliet, the Moscow panda express manager, who picked up the phone and gladly accepted to "personally" deliver my order to me, starving! She literally drove to a whole different state to deliver my $12 order! She was so nice and didn't even ask for a delivery payment! I do regret not leaving a much bigger tip when I made the order but I hope she sees this. I mean if there's any reason for her to get promoted, I can think of a much better reason than this! Thank you Juliet, you're a...
