Cons then pros. 1.Darkness. Screens are too dark that if anything in the movie is dark, i.e. night time, shadowed area, crawling through a tunnel with a torch, you won't see it. The last two different movies were this way.
Volume. Volume is so low that that the music isn't enjoyable, nothing rumbles, it's not a cinematic experience by any means. Just a quiet, boring movie.
People. Loud people with uneducated accents come in and talk like they're at home. With no regards for children and others, their cultural profanity is spewed during the movie as they make comments during scenes. Staff workers claim "they don't hear it" but pretty sure they're just too afraid to confront these civilized people. We had to leave.
Refills. We can't all afford Large cups.
Cost. GTC should be ashamed for their prices. They're making a profit at a crazy expensive of their loyal customers. Candy shouldn't be so crazy high when you can get the same items for a $1 or 2 at a dollar store.
Pros. Clean, friendly staff, helpful when we had to walk out. Thankful to have a theater in town far small flicks.
Should have free refills on all drinks and have at least one theater room with reclining seats. Both of which is offered...
Read moreWe love going here for movies, and this is the 1st less than stellar experience we have had. We (myself and 2 kiddos under 5) went on a Thursday (2 dollars day), and the line was out the door, and we got there around 930. Someone came out of the manager's office and saw the line but didn't help out the people at the registers. There were 4 young people working and doing their best, it seemed. It took us 25-30 mins to get tickets, popcorn, and drinks. The popcorn wasn't fresh or hot. The drinks were overfilled and leaking out the sides and top of the cups on us as we were walking to find seats. By the time we got everything and in the theater the movie had been on for 15 minutes and we couldn't find any seats together except for the 2nd row. My kiddos...
Read moreWent tonight to the movies with another couple. 4 total, spent 45.00 a piece for movies, drinks and popcorn. Popcorn was stale. 35-40 minutes into the movie my husband goes down for a refill on our drink (which we paid for a large so we would have refills) to be told they had closed the drink machines down. If that was the case, why sell us a large and tell us we get unlimited refills knowing our movie was an hour and 45 minutes long. I specifically asked before purchasing the large if we were able to get refills and was told we were. Needless to say, if we go watch movies here again we will not purchase drinks or popcorn. The movie was fine. The theatre room we were in had popcorn on the stairs when we entered, but other than that we had...
