When I first went in to the Home Depot in Moultrie I was looking for a new pole saw. Upon pressing the button, an employee named Dexter came and he was extremely unhelpful and did not have any knowledge about the products I was interested in. I was planning on leaving but I then had my dad come in, he is elderly but they did have a mobility cart ready for his use so that was a plus. When we came back to the aisle to see if we could find a suitable pole saw, since Dexter was unhelpful, there was another employee on the aisle. This employee was Crystal, she was helpful from the minute we got on the aisle. Once we described what we were looking for she immediately found the item and showed us the two different ones they had. We had a few other questions that she easily answered. After that, we had some other items my dad was in search of, and instead of just telling us what aisle they were on, she took us to each of the aisles we needed and showed us the options. She also made sure that when we went to the checkout, to get the military discount that my veteran dad was entitled to. The process was a little lengthy and I. had to go outside of the store to get on wifi to get it done, but Crystal accompanied me and showed me how, and as I was doing it another employee was loading another customers car, and Crystal immediately went over to help her co-worker. I have been to Home Depot many times and had both good and not so good experiences with employees, but Crystal was the best one I have ever dealt with. I believe she shines when it comes to customer service. She is knowledgable about products and where they are, and she is most friendly and kind. Read moreIt's over there. I made the mistake of visiting this store. Unfortunately, they were the only business in town who had the item I needed in stock. No one greeted me when I entered, I passed 3 employees at a kiosk, they said nothing. One female employee saw me and literally turned the corner like she owed me money. I made a left and passed 6 employees walking in a line, one of them said "Hello". I turned down the aisle where the product I needed was located but it was not stocked behind the display on the bottom shelf. It was up top with the others. I waited 20 minutes on assistance; no one showed. Finally climbed up and pulled it down. Proceeded to the checkout, passed another 3 employees who said nothing. At self checkout, the wand was not working. Apparently it was in stand-by mode and I had to wait for it to turn on. After paying cash for my item, an employee finally said something to me. She asked if I needed anything else. I stated I needed some "Great foam". She didn't know what it was, so she approached another associate who checked her smart phone or palm pilot and then pointed across the store saying it was Aisle 47 or something. Read moreSpent over $70 K in the last 5 months with Moultrie Home Depot., we are building a house., Daniel Perry and Stephanie usually help me during the week with excellent service and they get me the Pro discount because I spend so much, however, do not go on the weekend, you’ll get no pro discount, no service and a bunch of unprofessional workers with nasty attitudes. Today (Saturday), I had loaded about $600 worth of lumber and a 24 foot fiberglass ladder and went to check out where I was told there would be no discount. I said that Lowe’s gives a 10% Discount. They said WE DONT DO THAT., it’s against our policy. I explained that I had been getting the discount thru the weekdays from the pro-desk, that I had just spent $2700 Yesterday and over $70k in the last 6 months with them. They said that still didn’t matter, it was against their ISO policy and there would be NO discount. I asked if they would at least meet Lowe’s discount., they still said “no”, so, I left and spent my money with Lowe’s.
