FiliChateau is using fake AI content to lure customers(I used to be a loyal customer) EDIT: I'm editing this review months later to revoke my 5 stars and give this place 1 star instead. When Filichateau first opened it was a quaint bakery with great food. Since I've been there recently, the staff is rude and unresponsive, and their marketing on FB is all AI. I'm absolutely disgusted at their use of ai to promote their products. They are using AI to make their food look "better" to lure customers into their shop. They are also using ai to make fake celebrity ads (Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe). It's extremely misleading and scummy. They can't even post a picture of their own food!!!
Original Review when FiliChateau opened: Everything here was absolutely amazing. The pastries are mouthwatering, the staff are welcoming and eager to show you around, the environment is cozy and relaxing, I have nothing but good things to say about...
Read moreTo start, this place has delicious treats and friendly staff. That being said, upfront and honest pricing is important to me, and this place currently doesn't have that.
I ordered a drink, thinking I'd be paying one price, but then when I checked my receipt, I had been charged $2 more. Maybe that isn't a big deal for others, but it is for me. When I asked about it, the nice lady who helped me said they've been meaning to change it but haven't yet. Fair enough, but I would've appreciated a verbal mention, at least, but I suppose it's also partially on me for not checking before I paid. Overall, that's why I can't give this place 5 stars - for the dishonest pricing.
I do still recommend the treats, though, and as I said, the staff are very friendly. I will not be...
Read moreWe had a fantastic visit to FiliChateau! We tried the cinnamon bun, macaroon, and ube pandesal. There was something about the ube pandesal—maybe its vibrant purple color or its amazing flavor—that had my daughter devouring the entire thing and asking for more. The other treats were just as tasty; the cinnamon bun wasn’t overly sweet, and the macaroon was easily the best one I’ve had in Nashville.
We also got lucky and visited during a live music session, and it was so peaceful to have the place to ourselves with the gentlemen serenading us. It seemed like they were setting up for a kids’ story time later in the afternoon.
Overall, it’s a charming and reasonably priced bakery, and I highly recommend everyone...
