Sad to write this review as I had a positive experience with this gym up until now. I recently moved out of state and reached out via email to them to cancel my membership. I was told I needed a lease or purchase agreement and a driver license with new address. I explained I just moved here and I moved with family so I have no lease contract with my name or license since I literally just got here 5 days ago. I offered to send them my work information which now shows my new address and my daughters enrollment in daycare information showing where we now live but they denied to accept any other alternatives. I asked what if someone does not have a lease agreement/purchase agreement and doesnât drive then what will the proof of address be?, but of course I was completely ignored in the emails. I sent them a picture of the contract which states proof of address but doesnât specify what proof. I was willing to send any other documents that show my new address and pay the 10% for breaking the contract but they declined. Their only option was a buyout of $100. Oh and Rob Talty said if I went the route of stopping payments to the gym with my bank Iâll be sent to collections and I will lose the argument trying to intimidate me. Completely careless and no empathy whatsoever from Mr. Talty. I hope if anyone reads this and plans on doing a 12 month contract with them and has to move they will not cooperate or work with you and completely dismiss you. Again sad because the staff at the gym were great, the gym itself was great but this experience has...
Read moreFitness Factory of Mount Olive is a wonderful gym in a great, centralized location. The staff (shoutout to Willo and Matthew) is kind, courteous, and personable which seems to reflect in the clientele. Gym-goers, from all ages and fitness levels, are responsible, respectful, and supportive of one another's workout space and equipment. The gym layout is conducive to all workouts and is kept clean and organized. Finally, the training program is phenomenal. I trained with Brian for three months and we used InBody to track progress and Trainerize to assist with my workouts and nutrition tracking. I also had hip pain and some knee pain before starting my training sessions. Despite working out, I demonstrated a setback from my initial assessment to the month 1 assessment. Instead of disappointment, Brian worked with me to figure out why I regressed. He was supportive and helped me to be more honest with myself and about my diet. (I am a working mother of two young children - cookies are everywhere.) After that real and important conversation, I locked in and leveraged the nutrition aspect of Trainerize, and Brian adjusted my workouts. From month 1 to 2, I lost 5 pounds of body fat, went from a size 10 to 6, and surpassed personal strength targets I didn't think were possible in that time. I was also relieved of pain in my hip and knee since working with Brian. I am so grateful for this gym and for the staff at Fitness Factory MO. My physical and mental health has improved. I look forward to working out now and will continue to do so at...
Read moreGym is becoming just like any other commercial gym. Their normal prices are ridiculous for what they offer compared to non commercial clubs, which in my opinion are worth it since they offer more. Only was going here for the discounted price since I am a teacher, and also because I moved into the area to be closer to my job. Place wasnât bad when it first opened but over time just allowing too many members to sign up and place is getting too crowded. Not enough machines and equipment to go around for the amount of people. Lots of equipment and free weights I feel like are missing when it comes to a gym. And when the place is overly busy, which is starting to be a regular occurrence from 3pm-8pm, itâs not easy to get done what you plan to if youâre an avid gym trainer. Also an associate told me to cancel my 12 month commitment membership, I had to prove I was moving out of the area, which I am now, and she said it had to be at least 14 miles away. But turns out that wasnât true, when I emailed they said it was 25 miles.
If youâre gonna go here, only go here if youâre getting a discount on your monthly payment, or else donât bother over paying for this commercial gym. Place is too crowded now with too many members and not enough equipment to go around with a lot of individuals just standing around or sitting on machines talking and...
