Awful! I've reviewed many places around the area, within the US, and globally, and coming here to this Panera location in Mount Olive, NJ was definitely a whirl of tomfoolery. Visit the Panera Bread at the Roxbury Mall in Roxbury, NJ they're significantly better than this one and have better management there.
MISTAKES: Various order mistakes, you might as well triple check your order because this location makes so many mistakes that on every visit you're missing something (more on how a manager can't believe a child saying that and becomes demeaning at this location). Many more can attest (especially if you check other reviews at this location), many people identify this huge mistake.
FOOD: Horrifying, the food is a HIT OR MISS at this location. Soup is sometimes watery, not prepared well. Sandwiches just seem to be not too good here either. I get sometimes they're busy and all but the #1 thing as an establishment is to actually care what you're serving out to customers.
MANAGEMENT: Don't even get me started with them, I stopped coming to this branch, and I recommend you all do the same after hearing this from what I saw from a customer point of view during my last and final visit to this location. Manager was rudely and obnoxiously addressing a child that I usually sometimes saw on multiple of my visits (noting how he was a simple valued customer just like myself) while he was simply inquiring about a missing item from his order. Y'know the location makes many mistakes with its orders, I've personally had to address managers for the many mistakes made with orders, sometimes addressing them for a few orders in a few noting the common mistakes seen. Management seems to be bringing this place DOWNHILL, and I've already recommended and advised to many of my friends in the area to avoid this location as a whole. It's not welcoming, nor do they treat you respectfully, and evidently the management is poorly skilled with the way they communicate problems and situations as they arise. VISIT THE OTHER GREATER and BETTER LOCATION NEARBY: Definitely take the time to visit the Panera Bread in Roxbury, NJ - significantly better with better workers, management, and overall they treat you like a family over there unlike this location in...
Read moreThis place needs to step its game up. I've lived locally for several years and visit this Panera Bread location often and, I don't know what's going on, but the last few months has been a complete joke with how dirty the place is. Tables and chairs aren't wiped down, there's garbage all over the floor, orders are totally wrong, incomplete, or left on the counter while the server is floating somewhere. Why are we taking numbers if the food sits on the counter until it's cold? I worked in this industry for a long time and this is an embarrassment. The food service isn't that hard, guys. It's really not. You're not putting your spin on it, you're not a 5-star chef, it's only a matter of following the guidelines from the order slip. I don't want an ice cream scoop of avocado dead-center of my sandwich like it's about to strike oil, I want the right kind of cheese I paid extra for, and I want my drinks with the overpriced extra squirts I placed in my order. If I wanted to pay $20-35, per meal, for a mistake I'd go elsewhere. Even at McDonalds they have higher standards and it's 1/4 the price, and I can still have mistakes corrected immediately because their store managers, usually, pay attention.
Clean the place up, get on the ball with accurate ordering, stop being buddy-buddy with each other, and get people what they paid for. There's no reason every time I walk in I have to wipe down my table and chairs (and it's not as if a customer just got up and left, cause we're typically dining in and watch what's going on and nothing is cleaned for at least 20-30 minutes at a time), there's no reason I'm taking a buzzer when there's no one around to serve the food so it's left on the counter getting cold. If this is the case, hire me as a quality inspector, and I will absolutely make damn sure the place is up to spec. There's absolutely no...
Read moreUgh 😑 you’d think after a long day of work, the perfect night consist of picking up dinner and watching television while you indulge right ? WRONG! I don’t know what it is and why I continue to give this place another try but they always seem to disappoint. I order the ; You Pick 2, Mediterranean veggie (no tomatoes) Greek salad (no tomatoes no olives) oh, let’s not forget I wanted a large green read papaya drink, but to my surprise the young lady informed me that they had no large lids and didn’t even try to compensate instead she asked if I wanted it with no lid ?! lets be clear while driving ,ordering at drive thru smh a mess waiting to happen. I looked past that and settled for a regular sized drink instead. When I got home after getting comfy I opened my sandwich and salad and the most important part was missing ( FETA CHEESE) on both the sandwich and salad which both comes with both selections as an ingredient. Totally killed my freakin vibe because the main ingredient that makes the sandwich even more delicious wasn’t even added on there. A word of advice if you don’t have an ingredient that compliments someone’s order TELL THEM AND OFFER AN ALTERNATIVE DONT JUST ACT LIKE ITS OKAY PEOPLE PAY AND EXPECT WHAT THEY ARE PAYING FOR AS A WHOLE. Of course I called as usual no answer so that’s what lead me here hopefully someone pays attention . It’s always the same issue over and over and over something is always missing or messed up when it comes to an order!! please do better !! You won’t be seeing...
