The only thing that is giving this review an extra star is the fact that all the staff were super friendly. This was the most disgusting $60 a night RV site that I’ve come across and I’ve been RVing for the last year. If they made a little effort to clean up and re-model the bathrooms, this review would probably jump to 3 or 4 Stars. The showers were absolutely gross. Something you would see out of a horror film (see photo). They flooded too and the smell from the water flooding up was awful and gag-worthy. It also rained quite a bit during our stay which created massive mud puddles making it impossible to walk to the bathrooms without getting your shoes soaked. They told me that there were 2 working laundry machines and 1 working drier but it was the opposite. It took me all day to do my laundry with one working laundry machine. Also, one of the dryers had this black dog-fur coating the inside rendering it useless as well. I had to remove some woman’s laundry that smelled like it had been sitting in the drier for days. There looked like there was some abandoned RVs sitting in the lots next to us. This place was run down and with a little elbow grease, it has potential to be a nice RV site because the land was it’s on is actually quite beautiful. I hope this review encourages them to make a little effort in cleaning up those RV site and making the bathrooms at least half decent.

We stayed for a week in October 2025 and we found the location of this campground to be perfect for what we needed. Stores and gas stations are literally a 2 minute drive, and you can pop into NYC in under and hour from here! The campground is clean and well maintained and the staff is great! The restrooms and laundry leave something to be desired for sure, but they are clean and operational. No Wi-Fi was available during our stay, and when I asked the campground clerk about it she said they didn't have it anymore. Most of the folks in this campground are permanent residents, or at least seasonal, and the campsites are LITERALLY right on top of each other. We stayed in a pull-thru site, M2, and in order to dump our tanks we had to walk into the other persons site. When the sites around you are empty, the full timers think they should just whip their vehicles through the empty campsites at 20 MPH, literally not 5 feet from your RV. There is no dog park on site, but there is a GREAT dog park about 8 miles away! All in all, not a bad place to stay!

Loved my stay here. Very rustic and quiet place to camp. The cute little critters like the chipmunks make it a fun place to be. (If you look closely, you can see my "neighbor" Charlie the Chipmunk in my photo LOL.) My nephew, David Carey, spent part of a weekend there with me during the pandemic and we had a great time. RIP, Dave! My great niece, LilyAnna liked it too but she couldn't figure out why I was staying in a house that had wheels LOL. Can't beat the friendly staff and picturesque setting and the price is about what you can expect anywhere in New Jersey if you want to go camping.

We stayed here for 2 weeks in March 2021. This was the only place within an hour of our home that was open that time of year. Most places in New Jersey close for the season so it was a relief to find Fla-Net and we were grateful they had space. We stayed here during the beginning of renovation on our home and it did the trick. The sites are very tight and the campground is not a luxury place. However, the utilities worked and we were able to use our T-Mobile hotspot to get remote school and work done. The kids enjoyed playing in the creek and on the run-down playground. We did not use the bathrooms or laundry facilities during our stay.

Several big chain restaurants as well as a Wal-Mart and Lowe's are accessible within a longer walk or very short drive. Chili's is adjacent and many folks were eating/drinking there. Most people staying here are full-timers or seasonal construction workers. Not many vacationers although the location is very good for exploring the NYC metro area. The workers (mostly from down south based on license plates and accents) were super friendly and seemed to enjoy their time (sometimes a bit roudy but respectful). We also felt very safe - I am confident these guys would not put up with any trouble and anyone who tried to cause some would regret it...

The park could use about $1 million in upgrades and it would be fabulous. With work like a new pool and playground area, paving work, new office and shop and new basic amenities this would be a gem. NJ isn't the kind of state that is about to approve a lot of new RV parks so this place feels like a rare opportunity for an investor to do something special. For now, it is a serviceable convenient option for anyone seeking a year-round spot for their...

Fla-net ... My Experience ... I contacted Fla-net campground which is a few miles down the road from my mother's house. I was having trouble with the electrical system in my BT Cruiser ... short version, and there's no local RV places in this part of Jersey or garages that will accomodate RVs.

I called up Fla-net and asked if they knew of any local RV mechanics. The person at the front desk called the owner - Terry, for advice. Terry called me back and said, I'll be by your house in 20 minutes. Surprisingly, Terry was there, on time. He fixed my electrical system (didn't charge me anything), showed me the fuses and explained some issues I was having with the generator ... and I asked him, being a.newbie if he could show me some things regarding my RV's operation. He said, 'Come by the campground in an hour!' Again, he was more than cooperative, made sure I had the right air pressure in my tires. Again, he didn't charge me a cent.

IS this the kind of people I like to deal with ...? You betcha. BTW: In this area of NJ, I'm pretty sure they are the only RV campground open 365 days a year. Nice to know you can count on management if you have a problem.

I've used their dump station and again, my experience was good. I know, like anywhere, there are some great people staying in RV parks .. but there is also an element that takes advantage of the situation and it effects...
