Talbert House Brown County Outpatient (Mt. Orab) — Local services in Mount Orab

I called the day before I went in to make sure they had actual doctors on staff that can prescribe what I needed. I was there at 8 the next morning, filled out paperwork. Was told to wait, I would be called back for acessment and and to see someone. After talking to the worker, trying to explain what going on and why, she proceeds to tell me they don't have psychiatrist there just a n.p.and shy could only prescribe the 2 meds I had recently tried and so they couldn't do nothing for me. Really? Well I tried calling a couple psychiatrist and dang if they don't work at the Talbert House. They refused to help someone who truly needed help ill never recommend this place to anyone. I'm still in need of help but this place doesn't care . I just don't understand why they treated me like this. My other Drs are shocked too I'm not in a good place mentally but what am I...

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS i went here a few years ago because i wanted help trying to not want to kill myself the doctor did a trial run of wellbutrin, as most do, and when that didnt work, she said to me i think you just need to get some sun and exercise. even though one of my symptoms was being feeling so weighed down that i could barely get out of bed if i was having a rough time with my mental health. after she told me that i stopped going went through a really rough time feeling like not even the people who were supposed to help me cared. thankfully i decieded to try one more place before i attempted again. between that and therapists at max lasting 3 weeks before i get shuffled to someone else this is not somewhere to go if you need help only if its court ordered to sign a...

I just would like to take a minute to show my appreciation, gratitude and thanks to Talbert House Mount Orab.. This place is not only a wonderful facility but also has helped me and made a huge impact in my life and sobriety.. The people that I'm privileged to work with are absolutely amazing and even when I wasn't ready they were still there waiting!! Myself and the help from Amanda, Anna, Alyssa, Cali, Emily, Phaedra, Tom an so many more.. I have been able to turn my life around and begin to actually live and be happy!! Many nights I sat thinking I was alone when all along I wasn't.. if you are struggling please reach out as you are not alone, I am here to tell you recovery is possible! I love you all...
