Placed a mobile order, waited between 15 and 20 minutes to get to the speaker. At the speaker, we were asked to take a minute to look over the menu, and sat there another few minutes (mobile ordering is supposed to make everything quicker?). She came back and asked if she could help us, we told her we had a mobile order and she told us to hold on again. She came back a minute or so later and asked if she could help us again. We, again, told her we had a mobile order. She asked our name and proceeded to tell us that the blue raspberry freeze was unavailable since their machine had been down for 2 weeks, and that we needed to decide what we wanted in place of the (2)$3 freezes. I told her we did not want a substitution and to just take them off the order. Her response was that she could not do that on a mobile order and I had to choose a substitute item close to the value. At this point, I am beginning to become a little frustrated, I have worked or managed in food service for over 30 years, and know that making us take a substitute is not the only option. With a hungry 12 year old in the backseat that patiently waited for almost 20 minutes just to get to the speaker, I asked could I just place an order, a different order than the mobile order. She responded that I needed to calm down and stop yelling at her, that she had had a long busy day and the order would have to be cancelled. I pushed cancel on my phone and again asked to place an order. Her response shocked me..."I am refusing service to you, goodbye!" I said excuse me, could I please speak to a manager and her reply was "I am the manager! And I have the right to refuse service to you. You need to leave now!" She had no idea what our situation was, or whether our child would have something to eat that night. There was a simple solution of cancelling the order and simply re-ringing it without the freezes on it. I did not tell, I did not cuss, or treat her with disrespect in any way. I did react with frustration because she seemed to be making the situation much more difficult to resolve than it really was. By the way, my nephew just recently quit this store due to the way management treated employees. He let me know the manager with the purple hair is named Dina, so hopefully someone within Taco Bell corporate or at least her direct supervisors see this review, and get her some retraining before she runs off too many more customers or employees. I do not recommend visiting this store in...
Read moreLet me start with this, I have worked in food service and I understand the difficulties that come with the job. However, I want my experience to be heard by management or by someone who can do something about it.
I Mobil ordered food for my husband and myself just before 1:00. Around 1:15 we went through the drive thru to pick it up. We were not greeted kindly by either the person at the speaker or the person at the window. When we got to the window we were asked to pull around the building because our food wasn’t ready. We were told the food would be brought to us. At this point neither myself or my husband had any problems… I understand things can get backed up.
We waited in the parking space they asked us to go to for 15 minutes. The entire time we were waiting we saw multiple employees hanging out with their friends (who were not working there) and goofing off by one of the employee doors on the side of the building. They were eating food, laughing, playing pranks on each other.
I went inside to check on the food and there was not an employee in sight. There wasn’t one worker in the lobby or in the back or in the drive thru working. There was however a bag of food sitting on the counter. I waited for a few minutes until a worker came and found out that the bag sitting on the counter had our food in it. I don’t know how long it would have stayed there had we waited in the car like we were asked to do.
My problem with the situation is that there were several employees outside messing around and eating food while we were waiting patiently for our food that we paid for. Clearly someone wasn’t doing their job. When we got our food it was cold (as I’m sure it had been sitting for a while). I ordered nachos and they were so soggy I couldn’t eat them. All of the food was also carelessly thrown in the bag. There were chips all over the place and tacos falling apart.
Overall, very poor service, poor food, and...
Read moreIf I'm out and need to eat, I usually hit Taco Bell and use their app (great deals!). This location has some problems. It's not infrequent to arrive at the speaker and to be told, "before you order, I need to let you know we're out of , _____, _____, _." The other day, I came to try breakfast for the first time. I was told, "sorry, we're out of breakfast." I asked what they meant and they said they were out of eggs. HOW COULD YOU RUN OUT OF EGGS DURING BREAKFAST HOURS?! Tonight, the ones they're out of (that I remember) were onions, beans, cheesy potatoes, large drinks. I can't remember the rest, but who is doing the ordering of supplies at this location? No offense, but they're doing a terrible job. It's pretty common to have this experience at this location. Now, for the positives! I gave 4/5 stars because, despite all that, I really like their food. Other than occasional wrong food or drinks received, I've not had to get back in line for my proper order. And the best news... you have improved your unsweet tea by leaps and bounds! It's very good now. It used to taste like what I'd expect a mop bucket to taste like (it sounds terrible and it was), but it's wonderful now. I really appreciate whatever you did to improve it! Edit to add: As others have mentioned, the drive thru is very slow at this location, but some of that may be caused by the person taking orders in the drive thru having to explain to the customer at the speaker everything they're out of, then the customer has to re-think a new order. And finally, the staff has almost always been very pleasant with me. I don't know whether they're short or adequately staffed because the service is the same. I have no complaints there. They're friendly and...
