Absolutely lovely bookstore. I stopped in while I was getting my oil changed just down the road and I was pleasantly surprised by their selection! I ended up getting a few volumes of manga that I had been looking for, but they've got a little bit of everything, so I am sure you can find something that interests you too. I was greeted by Rosie while I was browsing and she was just the sweetest and softest four-legged helper that I have ever met. Just went there and can’t wait to go back. Beautiful, warm, inviting bookstore. I’ve lived near Mt Pleasant all my life and we have had several different bookstores. All fine but this one is the best I’ve seen. Guy upfront is really helpful and kind. And their displays are inviting. Absolutely loved visiting this book store! I grew up in the area and also went to Central was so sad when the Book Mark closed years ago. We were back in town visiting family and stumbled across Sleepy Dog after lunch at Max & Emily’s. The owner was amazing and had such great recommendations for myself, my wife and our little nine month old so. A fantastic addition to downtown, we look forward to going back...
