If this place is what constitutes as fine dining in Mount pleasant then I will pass 10 out of 10 times.

This is the most expensive meal that I have ever not enjoyed in my entire life.

My wife and I ordered all relatively simple things. Two dinner sized Caesar salads with grilled chicken, angel hair pasta for my one child and a burger for my other child with fries. I also ordered the lobster bisque.

I never knew romaine lettuce could get so bitter. I never knew a chicken breast could be so dry on a salad. I had no idea that you could burn a burger to this level and it still counts as being edible. I've never had a worse lobster bisque anywhere. I'm certain that Long John silver's given the opportunity, would knock it out of the park.

Luckily, for my children, they eat just about anything so they weren't too disappointed, however. As an adult that spent almost $70 for my family to eat out, I was livid.

The following morning we went to The Diner on the outskirts of town and it was delicious.

I will never eat at this place again. This was the worst and most expensive meal that I've ever eaten in my entire life.

Did I mention that my wife and I never finished our meals? Also, she decided that Subway was a better option...

While driving through Mt.P we decided to stop for dinner. After reading Google reviews and looking at photos we decided The Brass looked like a good place eat. Parking was a little difficult, but we did end up finding a spot after driving around a few times.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the hostess and seated immediately. Within minutes a very friendly and knowledgeable waitress was at our table taking our drink order and going over the special. Everything on the menu looked amazing! The soup of the day was dill pickle, which I've never heard of before but love pickles. So the waitress let me sample some. It was so delicious I ended up getting a bowl of it for dinner.😁 I'm not a big meat eater, but I would highly recommend the tenderloin tip stroganoff. I can't stop thinking about how wonderful that dish was. The meat was so tender!

We will definitely be back. It was nice seeing smiles on the wait staff faces as they were out on the floor. Anymore these days the wait staff seem very unhappy at most restaurants. But that was not the vibe I got while observing them here. I can't wait to stop back and try a dessert and another entree. Thanks for the...

Our office made a lunch reservation for 10 of us. The waitress didn't seem to be "new" to waitressing, but she clearly didn't understand how to serve. We ordered drinks, appetizers, and entrees. She first brought out the soup/salad that went with everyone's entree. Eventually we got our appetizers, and just before she brought our entrees we got our drinks. Very slow service, and I'm not blaming just the waitress - I realize the kitchen & bartender are part of this equation. The appetizers were great, drinks were delicious. My entree was so-so (a burger that was cooked beyond well done and I had ordered it medium, was dried out with a dry/crunchy bun); very little flavor, no seasoning, and the cheese slice had melted to the point that there was very little cheese on the burger. For the price of our tab (well over $200 including the tip), I won't go back. Quite frankly, I had a much better meal at the local Applebee's the previous week for a fraction of the cost. Very...

I've been here twice in the past two years and had a great experience both times! Some may complain about the prices, but in my opinion it is well worth the quality of ingredients and uniqueness of the menu. We went for our anniversary and I called ahead to ensure that the kitchen was willing to accommodate my fish and seafood allergy. The manager, Jarin, was professional and understanding. At dinner, he stopped by the table several times and communicated with the kitchen. I had the Cherry Duck and my husband had the Espresso rubbed steak. Both dishes were incredible. We also had the deviled eggs as an app and the relish on top made the whole dish. I went again with some friends and we all enjoyed the seasonal cocktail selections. Again the staff handled my allergy extremely well. I had the Basil Cappelini with chicken and it was fresh and flavorful.

Hidden gem! We found this cute little spot online on our way from Mackinac Island to Nashville as we were looking for a place to have dinner before staying overnight in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. We called in advance to make a reservation. Etta assured us that we made the perfect restaurant choice and boy, was she right! When we arrived, we decided to eat at the bar instead of the dining area. Our bartender (Lizzie) was awesome! She offered to let us try the soup du jour which was Dill Pickle Bisque - it was surprisingly outstanding, so we ordered a cup, as well as a bread basket. For dinner, we enjoyed a nice Cabernet Sauvignon and shared Za’atar Herb Rack of Ribs which were full of flavor! Delicious food, great service, cute restaurant! If we ever find ourselves in Mt. Pleasant again, this will be our restaurant of choice!
