Dog Central in Mt Pleasant has become my absolute go-to spot for lunch, and for all the right reasons. It stands out as a shining example of how a simple concept, executed brilliantly, can create an unforgettable dining experience.

At the heart of Dog Central's appeal is their fresh take on the classic hot dog. They’ve managed to elevate this staple with creative and delicious twists that leave you craving more. Each hot dog is a delightful surprise, packed with flavors that are both familiar and excitingly new. It's this innovative approach to a classic that makes every visit a gastronomic adventure.

The service at Dog Central is another aspect that deserves high praise. It's quick, efficient, and always delivered with a smile. In today's fast-paced world, finding a place that serves up great food without a long wait is a rare treat. Dog Central nails this balance, making it an ideal spot for a quick yet satisfying lunch.

Additionally, the pricing is just right - reasonable and value for money. It's refreshing to find a place that offers high-quality food at prices that don't break the bank. This aspect, combined with the quality of food and service, makes Dog Central a must-visit establishment.

In conclusion, Dog Central is a gem in Mt Pleasant. With its delicious twists on the classic hot dog, quick service, and reasonable pricing, it's a place you can't go wrong with. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to stop by Dog Central for a lunch experience that promises both satisfaction and...

Ok, it's hotdogs! The are inventive and there is the classic Chicago dogs, Sonoran dogs etc to be had. I tried the mac and cheese dog with bacon. I thought the macaroni and cheese was a little bit bland, not really enough bite/ sharpness and kind of soft and soggy. My son had the Cleveland dog with pulled pork and coleslaw that I think was a better choice. The seasoned fries were very good. Oddly when you check out if you're using your credit card there are quick tabs to select percentage of tip that you want to give. If I remember correctly it started at 18% which seems excessive for a place where they just bring your food to you in a little plastic basket and self serve soft drinks. It was nice that they had sparkling water. There was an option to customize the tip but I found it confusing and it was hard to tell what was going to happen. There is a cash tip jar and that's probably the way to go in the future. I imagine if you had a few too many beverages you could accidentally type in something you didn't mean to! Overall fun, decent food, clean place, quirky but definitely not...

I am not from MI. My family and I are from Southern North Carolina. We've eaten a LOT of great hotdogs! We told a friend we hadn't had great hotdogs since we moved here, and they insisted on us trying this place. The first disappointment was how extremely hard it is to read their menu. They have a lot of options and lots of different things, but I had to pull the menu up on my phone to actually read the menu. I ordered a Carolina dog and made my own. 4 of us, we got 2 hot dogs each, drinks and frys, total bill right under $80. A lot for hot dogs. They do not offer different types of actually hot dogs, just different combos. They use cased hot dogs, which is fine, but it wasn't expected, and the taste of the hot dog itself took away from everything else. It wasn't very full while we were there, no wait. The frys were the highlight of the meal, I would go back for those alone. For the hotdogs, I would've...

I love hotdogs. I was really excited to come here. I had the Cowboy dog and the Mac dog with some fries. All in all, the food was ok, but I wish they put more effort into the flavor of their toppings. They just taste kinda bland. It's impressive that they have a alcoholic beverages. The inside is super spacious. There's a game room separate from the main portion of the place. They have picnic tables outside as well. The bathroom I was in was dirty. It was also spacious and the had a mirrored graphic on the wall. I expected a changing table to be right there. Kids like hotdogs. So, that's why I find it strange to not have a changing table in the bathroom.

This was the best dog-gone experience I've ever had in 36 years of being on this planet. Came all the way from Vegas to golf with the boys and this was my first and certainly not last time here. The cuban dog was the best I've ever had until I had the goober dog just hours later. I wish I could post the video of me trying said goober dog in the hotel, but I giggled like a little school girl for hours on end. Thank you much dog central for doing your thang! I can now say I have had that dog in me. Glizzy-Gobbler out 👋🌭
