I brought 4 screens in to be re-screened, one had one bent side and needed new frame as well. They used my screens to train an employee with no previous experience and screen frames were returned bent and damaged. I brought them back to get the issue resolved only to get put at the end of the line behind other screen jobs and to be accused of bringing in bent screens to begin with. I was accused of lying and was not treated well by Mechelle the manager. The second shot at fixing the screens was better but I was told it was the best they could do. I was able to massage the frames myself to fit back on the windows except for the one they reframed. It doesn’t come close to fitting and I did not receive my bent frame screen back. I was told the owner would contact me, this never happened. I contacted Ace corporate and filed a complaint with no successful resolution. Don’t shop here. I’ve spent thousands here only to be treated the worst I’ve ever been treated at any retailer. There’s Mountain Grove Building Supply for hardware and tools or tractor supply or Walmart. Lady at register was friendly. Fuse i needed was unavailable. The employee helping me was unknowledgeable about fuses. When asked for details about the fuse replacement, he continued to say, "I don't know" and had no other suggestions. Otherwise, i typically get good help.

On another visit on Nov 24, 2023, a new cashier, when I asked him if they had an item, a certain pull string switch, and showed it to him on my phone. (I already checked to see if it's available online5) He blurted out, "it's on isle 13." His attitude was cocky and I could sense his don't care attitude. The item was nowhere to be found on isle 13, nor anything close to it. I went back up and told him it wasn't on isle 13, and he quickly told me "Then we don't have it." without looking it up on the computer. He doesn't seem to want to help ACE with their sales. Another employee stepped up and helped me find it on isle 11. The new cashier needs customer...

Very helpful staff. Will always help you look for items . Not the largest stock but usually has what I need.

There are many times I’ve had to go to your local competitors . Also go 60 miles to Springfield Ace as your own website would say you had something and did not. You say you have the best stock in 20 miles. I can tell you have higher prices most on items that you carry. Also, when I said your staff would help you look. Doesn’t mean they find it. Many times I’ve had to look for myself. If you don’t like my 3 star review, I’d be happy to change it to 1 star. The store is mediocre, it is not 5...
