Country Mart — Local services in Mountain Grove

Very poor service. 5pm and no cooked food in the deli. These stores country mart and town and country have really gone down hill. Dinner time and they got nothing. Need workers that will work. Pitiful. Update: A year later . Service in cake area is worst than worst. Example 3 people on fried food side. We picked out cake and we needed happy birthday written on it. White haired woman with glasses said just a minute. She waited on three people, the last person she waited on came in same time as us. While she was waiting on them 6 more people walk in and got in fried food line. She left us standing there holding a cake for ten minutes totally ignoring us. Very rude. And to top it off, there were 4 to 5 people working that station. Give this store now, instead of a1 rating they now...

I'm fairly new in town. I miss Richards Brother's' Grocery store since they closed in October. Sometimes I prefer Town and Country Mart on Main St right off MO Hwy 60, to Walmart. They have good produce, and the baked goods I've tried, in their in store bakery, were good.

If you plan to shop for specific items from a weekly sales ad, I recommend going as early in the sale as possible, because I have waited until the last day of sale several times, and been disappointed on a few items they had sold out on. Their sales ads generally run Wednesday through Tuesday, weekly.

Update - they do NOT give rainchecks. If they run out of something in an ad you are out of luck.
