Giving up entirely. I always give so many chances, but enough is enough. Ive been coming here for the past 2 weeks almost every other day. At first I understood messing up so many times and some of the food not being made right or being completely saturated in water from the shredded chicken. However, the last 4 times I have been here it’s been awful. From asking if I want a refill on my sweet tea and then giving me unsweet and then when I ask again it’s the same thing. To the shredded chicken being entirely made up of maybe 3 pieces of chicken and the rest vegetables to where you don’t even know if they put chicken in the order or if it’s just shredded veggies. Tonight our queso had a bug in it which is a first and the final straw was when I ordered 2 taco salads because the portions are very small and they kept assuming I meant one and just kept piling veggies in and a few pieces of very dry chicken. I’ve officially given up with this place. The last 3 times I’ve come here the queso has also been cold as if it’s from the fridge and they microwaved it and didn’t do it long enough. It used to be good, but now I’ve never been so...
Read moreWe visited Los Amigos yesterday. Our waiter brought our drinks, chips, and salsa. It was a long time before they came to take our order. When he finally came to take our order, he brought us more chips back, but no salsa or water, which I had asked him to. He took off running towards the kitchen. He eventually came back to take our order. We had to wait another 25-30 minutes before our food came out, which was missing a taco. He asked if we would like more chips. I asked for more chips, salsa, and more water. He refilled half the cups with water and brought out some chips. Still no salsa. The waiter never came back until he dropped the check off. The food was good, but not worth the wait. The people at the table beside us had a great experience. Their waiter asked one of the ladies if she would like another drink, to which she replied, "Not unless you're driving me home." He did a double take and made sure to check on their table frequently. I understand this isn't fast food, but I don't recommend this place unless you have at least 1½ hours to waste on a meal. I guess tacos, enchiladas, and nachos require a long...
Read moreRead moreHad dinner here last night on the way home from a long day on the eleven point river. The food was very good. I had the Burrito Mexicana with shredded chicken, substituted shredded cheese instead of cheese sauce and it was very tasty and filled with chicken onions and bell peppers. It said it came with quacamole cheese , lettuce and tomato but it also had sour cream as well. It was only $7.99 Girlfriend had the Pollo and chorizo and she said hers was excellent as well. And their hot and spicy salsa I asked for it was VERY VERY good. Some of the best I have ever had and I'm a salsa connoisseur . I have tried the one in Mountain home last year and it was not good at all. I haven't tried the one in West Plains yet but I'm sticking with this location when I'm out this way. Very good food at reasonable prices for sure. And I forgot to add the quacamole was actually real and not that processed stuff that you get at most of the Mexican joints in...
