Be mindful... this is a very expensive co. They were very communicative until the job was done. After job was finished I felt like the guy was very hesitant on telling me how much the job was... like he knew it was exorbitant - paid over $1000 for this move (with a groupon). Here I was thinking this job would be between $300 .. $500 tops. Smh what if I didn't have the money. One Of the movers went to my bathroom at my first place that I was moving out of and used the restroom came out finish packing once they got to my new place. He had to use the bathroom again at my new place. That I hadn't even used the bathroom at he went in and came out without washing his hands and I told him I said, so, you didn't wash your hands and he was like no, I'm good. And I'm like so you touched my items without washing your hands at both places. I reported this to the company. I got no response. Also I have my work desk. It is a raised desk that helps me with my back. As to why I hired this company to move because I have back problems. So the deaths that I use for work got broke. And they had to see it when they put it up in my new place. So I also let the company know this as well. Do you think that they communicated and got back with me? No, they did not, so I would just say beware. The cost is high the workers don't wash their hands and they might break things and not tell you about them and when you find out and you want to inform the company, they won't probably respond to you or do anything about it. So just FYI other than that, the move was okay. The guys were nice. Unfortunately, when I was moving my items and packing them in my room. I could not see what the other movers were doing. And I came down a couple of times and it seemed like a guy that was in my kitchen was having difficulty figuring out how to pack and I didn't notice it, but maybe he took a little bit more time than he needed to and he also packed things that weren't supposed to be packed. That I had to end up unpacking at my new place to return to the person I was sharing. The old place with and I try to be very clear on what things not to pack. And they ended up packing items that weren't supposed to be packed. So I had to make three trips back to the old place to return items at...
Read moreI had a move scheduled between 3-330(they scheduled the time), I was moving my elderly Mom to an assisted living place. The movers were more than an hour and a half late, they arrived at 445. I received a text at 253 that they were on their way, then I received a phone call at 302 that they were in traffic. I was ignored in text when asking for a credit for them being late, and no answer when I called the phone. The movers themselves were nice and efficient. Unfortunately they didn't finish the job til after 630pm. I got a reply maybe 20 min before the movers were finished saying that the movers had to get something to eat before they came to do the moving job. I was charged full price, more than $730 to get this job done, no credit for them being more than an hour and a half late, they charged me for that too. I feel that the movers left at the time they were supposed to arrive. If you know how far the drive is, then you leave early to make an appointment on time! I believe traffic was just an excuse for them to grab lunch on my time. It's completely unprofessional how they(the company)ignored me and made excuses to why they were late without any effort to make it right. I still have more items to move but I will not be using this company again I feel scammed.
*UPDATE!!!! I received a phone call from the owner who showed actual concern of my situation because I was very frustrated. He listened and put himself in my shoes. He was able to investigate and resolve the issue which made me feel comfortable and heard. I decided to change my review from two stars to five because Juan called me himself, communicated with me and actually put forth effort into finding a resolution for both myself and his company. That showed me he cared about his customers....
Read moreFrom the moment Juan and his guy from Job4Movers stepped into our home, it was clear we had made the right choice for our moving needs. Their professionalism, efficiency, and exceptional attention to detail far exceeded our expectations, making the entire process seamless and stress-free. Just look at the before and after photos!!
What sets Job4Movers apart is not just their competitive pricing but their unparalleled dedication to quality service. They didn't merely move our furniture; they took care of them as if they were their own. This included meticulously installing our bed and expertly repairing the legs of our dining table. Given the table's substantial weight—approximately 300 lbs, due to its marble top—this was no small feat. Yet, they handled it with ease, ensuring it was perfectly level and stable.
Their commitment to excellence didn't stop at moving furniture. Juan and his team went above and beyond by measuring to center our carpets, tables, and chairs, demonstrating an eye for detail that truly transformed our space. They even provided valuable advice on furniture placement, enhancing the flow and aesthetic of our rooms.
But what truly amazed us was their after-service care. They took the initiative to remove all the packing materials—countless boxes, plastic wrappings, and foam—from our furniture, leaving our garage and patio spotlessly clean. They didn't just stop there; they swept the floors and offered to dispose of any additional trash we had, ensuring our new home was immaculate.
Whether you need moving services, furniture installation, or just a team that will treat your home with the utmost care, Job4Movers is the company to call. They truly do everything and do it...
