Nice hidden gem! Good variety of food, wine, and other drinks, friendly, prompt staff.
Downside...why did I wait so long to try you!!??
I never write reviews. Glad I stopped in here finally. Came in at 4:30-6pm, quiet (lucky me was happy hour, $, 2-6 M-F). More people filling up as I left.
Food: pics of menu attached- "Small Plates" menu: tried Kalbi Marinated (steak) skewers (2) with spicy korean coleslaw, steak was perfectly cooked. The "slaw" (I hate coleslaw generally, zero spicy guy trying to expand my palet) I got halfway through til I probably hit a seed and I was done for, people who like spice this would probably be medium to you. I paired this plate with a Sean Minor Pinot Noir, CA...perfect smooth pairing to the steak.
Entrees: Chicken parmesan, with fettucine, w/option to substitute Alfredo, or Gorgonzola Cream sauce on the pasta, I chose alfredo, cheesy with a hint of smokey (if you like wood fired pizza you'll enjoy this Alfredo) Also the mix of marinara and alfredo, yum! Paired this with a Mark Ryan The Vincent, Chardonay, WA which had a buttery flavor/"mouth feel" perfect with the Alfredo. Will try the Antipasto Platter next time with friends.
Service: Hannah was awesome! She showed me the perfect amount of attention at the bar while not sacrificing her other customers. Friendly, good suggestions (totally right about the pinot noir and the chicken parmesan, I took [almost] half to go...I will enjoy you later...good tip, Hannah!) and she was "excited for you" to try it, made it more exciting to be there alone on a whim...will definitely bring a few friends sometime.
Atmosphere: Reminds me of an intimate tasting room. I sat at the bar, had 2 tv's with no sound, which is good for smaller space. Great for an evening with a few friends. If I had a date, I'd definitely...
Read moreRed Cork has become one of our absolute favorite restaurants, a place we keep coming back to for date nights, holidays, and special occasions. It has become part of our routine because the experience is consistently outstanding and we trust that whatever we order will be excellent.
The steaks here are unmatched. The filet mignon is tender, rich, and cooked with the kind of precision that makes it unforgettable. My personal go to is the airline chicken, which I would call the most immaculate piece of chicken ever constructed. It is flavorful, perfectly cooked, and always satisfying.
One of the things we admire about Red Court is the rotating special menus. Every time they introduce something new it feels intentional and carefully thought out, and we have never been disappointed. In fact, part of the fun is knowing we can try something different and still be blown away. They once had a hummus plate that was so good we still ask about it in hopes it makes its way back to the menu. That dish in particular showed how even a simple idea can be elevated into something memorable here.
The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between refined and comfortable. It feels upscale enough for a holiday celebration yet relaxed enough for a casual date night. The staff is attentive, welcoming, and always makes us feel like valued guests.
We have recommended Red Court to friends and family and they have all had the same experience we have had. It is the kind of restaurant you can recommend without hesitation, knowing it will deliver. Everything from the food to the service to the overall vibe makes it clear this is a place that takes pride...
Read moreIt's in a strip mall, but don't let that fool you! The food is great, and the drinks are good. Great little place for the after work crowd to unwind. Service was wonderful.
We had the the Wild Boar Bolognese and the Wagyu NY strip, as well as the Antipasto - which was served on a live edge board and one of the best I've had. Little light on the charcuterie but everything on that board was divine. All kinds of nuts and pickled vegetables plus a few hard and one soft blue cheese. Could have gone with a few more soft cheeses like brie, etc. But still, sooo good. And the soft, warm pita served alongside it was amazing.
The strip was served with the most delicious carmelized heirloom carrots and a fun crispy potato stack. I asked for my steak prepared just between medium and medium-rare and they got it perfect. The chef even came by our table to check in with us himself. A touch of class and care that's always much appreciated.
I had the red sangria, which was ok. But the drink that really lit my heart on fire was the hibiscus refresher. Like if a hibiscus flower and mojito had a baby, the refresher would be the result. So, so good! That should definitely go on the permanent menu!
Parking is easy, adequate and free. And I'd go back for...
