A client of mine and I had met up at this place to have a casual business meeting. It just so happens all 3 of Seattle Washington’s sports teams were playing that night, which made for an already loud environment.
My client just happens to be one of the loudest people you’ll probably ever come across (natural voice).
Within about 10-15 minutes my client had half the restaurant staring at us because he was the LOUDEST person plus he was cursing up a storm. He was “obnoxious” to say the least.
Considering it was already very loud, and considering we still have some “Freedom of Speech” left, and because nobody up to that point had actually said anything about how loud and obnoxious my client was being.
At one point, a lady with her 13 year old son (sitting at the table right in front of us) turned around and made it obvious she was not completely ok with my client’s behavior.
My client in his own way, remained respectful while letting her know that people shouldn’t bring their children to a sports bar while games are on and people are drinking.
As we were becoming friends with this lady, I couldn’t help but call out a gentleman who’d been staring at my client since we sat down.
Long story short, the owner (Sean) came out and defused a situation that was becoming elevated, potentially avoiding physical exchange.
By the end of the night, my client, myself, and the other 2 tables, had become friends. All thanks to Sean’s incredible leadership skills.
Sean, Ellie, and the rest of his team working that night, ALL AMAZING!!!
Can’t wait to return like the Jedi 🙂

Read moreI was happy to try this new brew house in my area and met up with friends for an early Sunday dinner. The staff was friendly and the new look inside is cool with more space and flat screen TV's for sports. The service was fast and I was semi-okay with the process of ordering food and drinks yourself at the register. Unfortunately, my friend and I both ordered the fish sandwich and it was was not very good. The fish portion was smaller than expected and the buns were served cold without being toasted or warmed on the grill. It was as if the buns were removed directly from the fridge and placed on the fish fillet. We ate the fish which tasted okay and left most of the buns on our plates. The fries were served hot and tasted pretty good and the servers were fast bringing the ketchup and tartar. The beers were tasty but expensive ringing in at $8.00 each and the soda was sold in cans from the cooler and cost $2.00 each, a little pricey for a soda with no refills in my opinion. The salad was fresh and tasty but smaller than I had hoped and it only came with one option for dressing, the house vinaigrette. I don't know if I will go back to this brew house but if I do I'll probably drink water or limit myself to one beer and order something other than the fish sandwich next time. Looking at the menu, there were not very many options that looked good to me and I'm not picky when it comes to food...
Read moreMe, my wife and some friends want to try a new place to us for dinner. We decided to try this place, first thing we thought was odd was that when you first walk in you go to the register to order your drinks and dinner, which we thought could back up the line real easy especially if you’d never been there. We also noticed that the menu on the wall has more/different items then the website, so even after looking at the website menu I ended up changing my mind because I noticed something else on the wall menu. My wife really enjoyed her burger, I enjoyed my French dip, but our friends fish and chips and fried chicken sandwich were over cooked.
After ordering dinner and drinks my wife asked if we have to walk up here every time we want a drink ? She said no there will be several people walking around to take orders, well not one person stopped to ask us for more drinks, even though all four glasses had been empty for awhile, it wasn’t until my buddies wife yelled at a guy to come over and take our drink order. When we were ready to leave we had to walk up to the register to pay our bill. Even though it was Apple Cup night the place was very empty and they had more then enough employees standing around to fill drinks.
I really don’t see us going back, the whole line at the front door was kinda dumb, Blooming Onion has the same scenario and we stopped going there amongst other...
