So dissapointed in my attempt though last minute, my attempt falling apart. Called them on Christmas Eve (I was working until 4) and straight up told them I don't care what the cost or what you have left I need to buy some skis for my family. Asked a simple but blunt question "How late are you open? Got a very confident answer of "8 PM, and that they'll even be open Christmas day" ...i told them that's awesome and I'd see them before 5.... drove right there In the ice and snow to find them closed.

So wanted to support a local business. So wanted this to work. But it kind of made my Christmas die a tad. Usually I don't write reviews for stuff like this. But a phone call back or a warning would have made me feel a lot better. But the enthusiasm of his answer got me pumped to come throw down some money and get some help on something I know nothing about (skis). People wonder why local businesses are hard to keep. Well promising hours, and then not following through is more the reason a online site got my business this year and I even pain the $159 for overnight Christmas...

Joe at Sports Connection is fantastic! He was incredibly helpful in getting my family geared up for the upcoming ski season. The used gear he recommended was in excellent condition and priced very reasonably. Joe is not only knowledgeable but also extremely approachable, making the whole experience enjoyable for everyone—especially our kids.

He went above and beyond to ensure the kids’ skis were properly adjusted to fit their boots and checked the bindings to make sure they released safely. Joe also took the time to give us some great tips on equipment maintenance and even offered to adjust my wife’s and my skis.

His attention to detail and friendly demeanor made the whole process seamless. We’re so glad we found Joe and will definitely be coming back next season....

I came in looking for my first set of skis and poles. The owner of the shop showed me his inventory and explained the differences in the various skis and how that might affect me as I go down the mountain. I was very pleased with the personal touch I received and all the knowledge that he had. I was very pleased with the price I paid for my skis. Even though the skis had already been waxed prior to my arrival the owner felt that the wax should have been fresh. He took the time to wax my skis again at no additional charge. He also fitted my boots to the skis to ensure I would be ready to go straight to the mountain after leaving his shop. 10/10 would...
