Updated review: -Still no change. Now actually $80 a month for a membership and what do you get? Weight and cardio rooms are basically overrun every afternoon/evening with teens goofing off, running around, and not using equipment properly and trashing the locker rooms. Waiting for the day some little kid gets crushed by a barbell or launched off a treadmill. No one enforces the rules yet they have staff just sitting around all the time at the front desk (people are always talking on cell phones in cardio area) -Machines are dirty and showing age. Sinks and soap dispensers in the locker room have been broken for months.

Come on Y... Get your stuff together. ‐‐‐--------------‐-------------------------------------------

The Y continues to raise prices for memberships at an unsustainable and unrealistic rate. Current $78/month rate for a single adult puts them in line with the likes of Olympic Athletic Club, Pro Club and several of the other high end private gyms in the area (Of which they are not) and they also have the nerve to ask for yet more money for charitable contributions to the Y.

Meanwhile as the fees go up, what do you get? No towel service and limited hours No one enforcing the rules for age limits in the fitness areas, most of the locations in Everett, Mukilteo, and Monroe are basically uncontrolled teen/kid hangouts goofing off and running around in the afternoons Equipment is often dirty, run down or broken (Maybe you should try enforcing the "no street or non-athletic shoes" rule to keep mud/dirt/ and now winter slush/salt off of your equipment or make sure kids aren't treating the cardio equipment like toys") Very little enforcement of the "No cellphone usage in fitness area" policy Rarely do you see staff/trainers out in the fitness areas checking on people, organizing equipment, or cleaning. Glad I'm paying for your staff to sit around on their computers or gossip at the front desk.

While I would love to keep supporting the Y as I have done for years it no longer makes sense. The Y is no longer upholding it's mission of being a place for everyone to pursue a healthier lifestyle. Instead I feel like I am being used as a single adult to subsidize all of the their other programs while the quality of the experience in their main fitness center's...

I love the sauna. I get my facial done here everytime. Yay!! Also we love blowing bubbles because of the spuds OF COURSE

Unpleasant approaches that made me uncomfortable for being accused of filming without even doing it. Plus unprofessional approached from a Lifeguard who had a tattoo on her neck and Tattoos everywhere that apparently I’m filming for TikTok. I don’t even have a TikTok account. I was around old white folks that were doing Water Fitness class that I was minding my own business at a hot tub jacuzzi by myself and all of a sudden they were just giving me a unwelcoming atmosphere. I decided to have my phone with me that time to multitasks checking my personal email, messages, friends and family messages and having audiobooks on my headphone. “Karen’s” were the accuser just because I don’t like white and mixed race. Apparently I was tilting my own phone the way someone looks like filming. Mind you I was at the fastest currency hot tub jacuzzi that splashes water a lot. Their audacity to tell me what to do with my personal space and interrogate me unprovoked and unprofessional accusations and acted guilty the moment I questioned who are they for me to be filming? Who are they for me to be wasting my time filming? I’m just doing my personal space and minding my own business. Your lifeguards need to learn how to approach professionally and acts like talking to someone with a TikTok account I don’t even used. Plus their audacity with the old folks accuser for me to apparently next time I need to used the side Jaccuzi hot tub if I ever bring my phone with me.
