Goodwill Store — Local services in Muncie

Can't believe how expensive everything is getting when it's donated for FREE! $4.99-$9.99 for shirts they got for free seriously? No wonder every Goodwill is overflowing with stuff especially clothes. We always went in and came out with a bunch of stuff a few years ago when it was reasonably priced. Now it's actually the same price as going to a store and buying a lot of the stuff new especially if you go to a discount store like Ollie's or Gabes.

Update- Last time we went here we got charged for stuff we didn't buy and prices didn't ring up right but we didn't notice until leaving. Just came out again and prices continue to get higher. $20 for sweaters?? And $20 for ceramic statues "which i uploaded pictures of"...

I am extremely disappointed that, as of 7-31-22, our Goodwill has discontinued all discount programs; 1/2 price color tags, senior discount😡, MILITARY discount😡, etc. Only the rewards program remains as a potential discount if you spend enough to apply ($25 to get a 10% discount). This is a terrible time to take away options for customers to save money, not to mention the fact that they obtain all their product inventory for FREE through donations and no supply chain issues exist for them. Then they have the gall to ask you to round up your amount due so they get extra money🤦🏻‍♀️! Consider the lost discounts my additional donation! Bad move Goodwill! Karma will get you...

If you're looking for a good deal and cheap prices on a used donated item then you've come to the wrong place. I have this thing about thrift stores / Goodwill stores when I travel: I try to stop at every one I can when I'm out of town traveling. My number 1 store? East Dallas, Texas - they always have some amazing donated Mexican folk art, lots of inexpensive clothes, huge selection. My number 1 WORST store? Muncie freaking Indiana. The last time I was there they actually had a 3.99 price tag on a 1/2 used 5 dollar Wal-Mart candle. I'm not making this up.
