Panda Express — Restaurant in Muncie

Basing my experience with panda express in a busy military region of the world aka Jacksonville, NC I would have to say that this Muncie location has ruined my previous good experiences with this chain. Every time I have ate at the panda in the past it has been great fresh food that left me wanting more. I was rather excited moving back to muncie and seeing that we had a panda express I have been about 5 times now and every time I go I hope that it was just a bad day. I have come to the realization that it just sucks here. The panda set apart from other nasty Chinese food that I would previously get. The breaded food is just plain not fresh and soggy leaving a undesirable texture to the supposed crispy breaded and fried food that I once knew. The chicken breast seems like they either have someone who doesn't know how to trim the tendons and fat off to serve proper food or they just don't care. the crab Rangoon are mostly over cooked and the serve time is rather slow. Online it states that this specific panda is open until 1030 in the drive-through and after driving from New Castle just specifically to get an order I called once I got to McGalliard to place my order I had a time as possible and was told that they close at 9:30 and that they are never open until 1030 not even in the drive-through that apparently they close at nine throughout the week and 9:30 in the drive-through and then on Friday and Saturday. She said they’re not even open until 1030 on those days either. What a disappointment, considering almost all store hours that are posted on Google aren’t usually wrong but nowadays it seems that there are so many kids running the Silletti’s that they put in twos when they want to open close which is so frustrating!!! no I sure wouldn’t have driven all the way over here if I didn’t know that they were going to be close already 🥲😤😡🤬 it would be great for the hours to be updated to showing the correct hours of the drive-through or the inside to the south being open. I was at the Muncie location on 9-32018 I thought I would try the drive through and be on my way . I ordered at 2:01pm I waited 13 minutes in line with one car in front of me I paid for my order at 2:14pm and was asked to pull around front and wait for my order in the parking lot . So I waited and waited till 2:32pm , I walked in side and waited for someone to talk to and I was asked if I needed help and I said I have been waiting for my order 31 minutes and a girl walked up and said here is your order and I put a couple of coupons in with my order and walked away. The coupons consisted of one free appetizer instead of giving me 2 free meals , this was an insult to me and a customer . I called the customer service number and was told it would be 24- 48 hours before it went to upper management .I called corporate in California and I asked to speak with director of operations and was told they didn't have a line for him or her and couldn't connect me to resolve this issue .
