Ashley Store — Local services in Muncie

As we entered the store, I’m not sure we actually had any intention of purchasing, but we knew what we needed and we knew what we wanted! Upon entering, a very nice gentleman named John greeted us shortly after we walked in. He explained the layout of the store and told us that he would not bother us but he was certainly available for any questions or further direction that we might need. As we looked around, we did have questions and he was able to answer all of them. We ended up finding something that we wanted rather than needed, and he was able to present the look of the items to us by moving around some chairs so that we could see what different things looked like with different tables. We were happy with the price, but he was also able to show us a lower price which we were very happy about. We had an excellent experience at the Ashley Store on Friday, January 10, 2025. We started off just wanting two lamps, then bought 4 lamps, then just asked about their mattresses and now we want two new mattresses and a new electric recliner. Then went to Ashley again and bought an electric chair. Yesterday, we went to Ashley and this time bought a couch to match our electric chair.The staff to include your wonderful secretary, were knowledgeable as well as very polite. By the way, you are going to be sorry when your secretary retires. She is a gem. I am elderly and just can’t stand being talked to in a condescending manner. Our the two sales people spoke WITH us, not AT us, which I really appreciate at my age. I hope all of your sales people are as well trained and professional as our salesman and secretary were. The sales rep, Cody, was very personable and kind to our three kids under 3 while we were there. He was not willing to work with us on price outside of matching the online price. This was disappointing, but Ashley had the patio furniture we wanted and we had looked around a lot and were ready to buy. Shopping multiple evenings with young kids gets tiring even though they're great.
