Looked to buy online because of a deal progressive finance was doing. First store I stopped at didn't have any of the mattresses I wanted to sit on. I'm spending hundreds of dollars on a bed and can't try it before I buy it? Well you can if you want to pay a return fee of $250. So the guy at the store got to chatting with me which was fine at first until 40 mins went by and I really really wanted to leave but he wasn't even pausing for me to say I needed to leave. When I finally did get out of there I went to the one down the street. It was probably worse. Sales guy was nice and all and asked me how I slept, trying to find me a good fit, not that they had the mattress in that store for me to try either. But after the brown dip spit in his mouth overflowed out of his mouth and on to the floor while he was talking I was absolutely disgusted and done with them. Bought my mattress online and ran into more problems. You don't get to pick when your very expensive purchase is going to arrive. So a couple days before it's delivered you find out what day it's coming and you have to call off work to sit at home. FedEx delivered the package but I only knew it was there because I heard the thump at my doorstep, he didn't even knock. He left a $400 bed at my doorstep and didn't even knock. Had to wait four days for delivery, tomorrow. Alan is nice enough to represent your company, however he definitely needs more corporate support. He provided comparisons amongst the mattresses to help me with my decision. I wasn't sure yet what I had decided, so I left and returned the next day. Unfortunately AJ was not in and my experience was less than desirable with the other salesman. However, I returned to Mattress Firm for the third time at the location AJ was at, and again he was able to answer more of my questions. He was never pushy or try to up-sell me out of my budget.
