Ordered tuxes for 7 people for my daughter’s wedding at over $200 each. Was told we could make changes to colors or sizes without issue up until 48 hours before the wedding. When we went to change the color of one of the vests and ties, we were surprised with a $20 charge. Not a huge deal but would have been nice to know ahead of time. When my wife tried to explain that we hadn’t been warned of the $20 charge the manager rudely interrupted her and said “that is why I am telling you now”. When my tux arrived, the pants were way too big. Not a huge deal as they came in way before they were needed and they offered to order new pants. As we were about to leave I asked my wife if she had noticed if my tie was a bow tie or regular tie. It was supposed to be a bow tie but she thought it was a regular tie. She went back in and asked and the lady said she went back and looked and it was a bow tie. It was not a bow tie and by the time we discovered it, it was too late to correct the issue. They did try to give me a vest and tie in a different color to correct the issue but the fact is that considering they are about twice as much as any other tux shop in Muncie, I would expect to be treated better, and when an employee is asked to check something, I would hope they could tell the difference between a bow tie and a regular tie and I would think that they would bend over backwards to make sure things are perfect, not treat you like dirt, and nickel and dime you with hidden fees. Read moreMy son got asked to be part of a wedding. He hadn't been added to the party registration, because it was a last minute request. We decided to make a day out of it. We have been to the Muncie Men's Warehouse and have had a great experience many times before. My son loved the interation from previous visits.
Unfortunately, today was a terrible experience. When we went in and told the younger sales man what we wanted, he had zero desire to help but showed us what is in stock. I told him we wanted to do a rental with pants, shirt, vest and shoes. He stated it depending on his size if it would be able to come in time. Which we completely understood. We asked him if he woukd size our son. He said "sizing kids is not really easy" then walked away. We asked him to size him 3 separate times to see about ordering something and every time we were ignored. Not one time did he ever look to see if we could rent something when we asked him. We ended up finding a pair of black pants to buy that were in stock. When we were checking out the female associate asked how our experience was. We told her, she apologized multiple times and offered to help. However at this point we were so frustrated we politely told her no thank you. The whole time the younger male associate was too bu0sy talking to a group of friends in the store. It's just so disheartening to have such a great experience multiple times when it's just my husband and myself. My son was highly disappointed because he felt more like a burden. Read moreI just came back from the store today from buying two custom suits. The first gentleman(forgive me for not remember your name) who helped me discussed my options for suits off the rack or custom and suggested first trying a suit off the rack to see it we could tailor it for a proper fit. I have broad shoulders and typically have a difficult time finding a suit that fits properly. After finding the proper size he suggested it would be difficult get the suit tailored properly and custom might be a better option. So I ask what my options were and what approximate cost would be. He did a great job explaining the different levels of custom suits they offered. Once I decided on an option, Mike the Regional manager assisted him with the fitting and sizing process. Both of them did a great job helping throughout the whole process all the while being sure not to ignore other customers who were coming into the store. I was there for about an hour and half but was not upset because they really were trying to be as thorough as possible.
