The only reason the store is even getting a 3 is based off it being a stater Bros and their reputation. Bassicly the store itself is fine, it's clean and kept tidy. But this is the second time I've had an experience like this at this particular store.i am a huge fan of stater Bros in general so it makes this that much more upsetting dealing with the situation. my main issue with them is their employees and customer service. First off I needed wonton wrappers, so after looking for a good 10 minutes I gave up and asked a employee. She said "oh yes let me show you" and after walking to where they were and not being able to find them she made the comment "man they keep moving those things around", bassicly inferring that ,yes we do have them in stock but I can't find them, and that was it she just gave me a blank stare with the look on her face like please don't ask me to look any further for them. So I figuired I would forgo the wonton wrappers.rather then trouble that employee anymore then she made completely clear. so after that just wanting to be done asap at this place I just head for the checkout. The line was moving a little slowly but by the time it was out turn it had gone to a painfully slow pace. And to add insult to Injury there were literally 5 employes standing there 2 baggers the cashier and 2 additional employees standing behind the cashier doing nothing but putting off a accuseatory vibe. Almost giving us the impression that we were causing trouble or stealing something. I tried to lighten the mood with a joke but was only met with the same uncomfortable vibes. So they stood there the whole time just staring and not until we took three steps away from the register after paying and everything the one lady with the sour face stops us and says to the cashier that she didn't scan the case of water and soda on the bottom of the cart. But the thing is that she clearly knew the whole time that those were down there and instead of correcting the situation before we paid and started to walk away which would of had the same effect on the cashier as far as letting her know.so then we had to wait for her to scan and check those out. Very frustrating. I would also like to note that it was me, my girlfriend, and her friend and not until we walked out did I mention how weird that was and the rude impression the girls standing behind the register gave off and they completely agreed and said...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a terrible customer service experience at the Service Deli counter recently. On the day that I visited, I stood at the counter waiting to order for almost ten minutes before anyone even acknowledged me. The lady that was working that day came out to the front and started working on her tasks for a few minutes before turning around and saying, "Do you need help?" I asked if I could get the 8 piece chicken, and she looked down at what was in the case before abruptly saying,"No." I laughed, thinking she was joking, but she said it again before explaining that she didn't have enough of the breast pieces. I stood there in awkward silence when she offered to substitute it with other pieces. I was absolutely ok with it, but then she turned and walked to the back. I assumed it was to ask if they were making more chicken because she didn't tell me anything before leaving the counter. She came back out front saying that they had to make more of the breasts, but it would take 15 minutes, then another 10 minutes for her to get it in the case and prepared?? That didn't make sense to me but I said ok. Basically, she made me feel as if it was an inconvenience to have to make, so I told her it was ok. I walked around to see if I could get anything else since I work at the hospital and needed a quick grab and go. After 5 minutes, I decided to just go somewhere else, so upon walking out, I see a different lady handing a customer the boxed chicken meal. I thought maybe the lady that helped me was having a bad day, which is ok because we all have them, but it was a terrible experience overall, and I know not to visit this location if I need...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAt this point a THREE IS ALL I CAN MANAGE!! Several times I have had almost CRABBY clerks. Is working in that store so TERRIBLE? One lady heavy set, blonde, short in stature always makes me feel like she dreads filling my requests at the deli. I almost feel sorry I have to bother her. I have never watched to see if she is that way to other people. If she is going to be the one helping me I just go get something else pre-packaged. I am an Alpha extreme, very female but I try to be KINDš. Do I just keep avoiding her or bite the bullet and ignore her rudeness? A couple of the clerks are also that way a little bit. I work 6 days a week between the courts and my weekend clerking in retail. I understand sometimes the people I serve are difficult to smile at. But does a SMILE REALLY COST SO MUCH??? I think I will pray before walking in from now on so I can SMILE even if they donāt š. I guess 3 out of the whole staff at this one store is not bad odds. Maybe I will just not go to the clerks I already know donāt LIKE MEš
Update: It has come to light that the deli person who gave me the feeling I was a bother to her has not been around for the last 3 weeks! I just hope she is OK! I donāt mind going out of my way to make her more comfortable its not like I NEED TO have deli food, there are hundreds of other choices. I have been in this same store several times since I started this post and each time has been reasonable to even GOODšI am pleased to say! So I am upping the score to a...
