Del Taco — Restaurant in California

Been coming here for years. No longer! Seems since the wages have climbed for staff, the attitude and care has gone down. Order a chicken burrito and a Coke. No advisory provided by staff that equipment was broken, or items unavailable. Get my drink handed to me and it’s warm to the touch. Tell the young man I believed it was the wrong drink, and he gets a new one. Same thing. No ice. Tells me ice machine is broken. How about telling people that when they order. I decide life could be worse, decide to deal with it, and move on, figuring it would be warm, but at least taste like Diet Coke. Wrong. Just warm, sweet water, no carbonation. Burrito…you guessed it. Cold.

I’m done with this Del Taco. Have had other bad experiences periodically, but now it’s the rule, not the exception. Owner best wake up, because I’ve heard others working nearby who eat lunch here who say the same and have moved on. Voting with my wallet and moving on. Just had the worst experience. Went through the line and ordered a beyond burrito, carne asada fries and a carne asada taco that was supposed to be free with a coupon code.

The code didn't work so I had them take off the carne asada Taco but when we left they gave me the carne asada Taco rather than my wife's beyond burrito. She is a vegetarian so we had to go back and swap. While in line I realized that my carne asada fries were actually just plain old crusty fries.

At the window the worker basically cost the beyond burrito in my car and turned around and walked away before I could explain that my fries were also wrong. I had to honk to get their attention. They never apologized. Just roll their eyes and grab my cold fries. They then heaped a scoop of hot fries on top of my cold ones and through the carne asada toppings on it.

This place was very dirty customer service was terrible Africans were dirty they were a lot of homeless people outside and inside of the establishment customer service was not good at all after I complained about the bathrooms being dirty they told me that they would get to it but they never did I ordered my food and it took them every long to make it so I decided not to eat there I just told him to return my money to meeting manager didn't seem bothered at all she said okay here you go give me my money and send me on my way I would not recommend it anybody go eat here also if you do make sure that check your food before you go. I have never had such a terrible experience at Del Taco and I am very upset that this happened to me hopefully this was a one-time experience for me and for anybody else who decides to eat at this...
