Menards — Local services in Muscatine

Walking into the Muscatine Menards you're greated by the customer service team at the entry if they aren't already busy helping other customers. I've been to Menards for several home projects and this review details the average of them.

At times the shopping carts can drive you mad due to the stuck wheels but throwing a child or two into them offsets the squeeking with their weight (however, it won't muffle the kids crying).

The employees are helpful, some more begrudgingly than others; but they have the experience gained from their training and interactions with customers and it helps sway my decision more often than not and get me back to doing work.

Paying the kid tax (buying the small toy to pacify the kid when you try and get stuff done) is hard without the toys the kids expect to see... the floor space should make it easy Menards to have the big brands pawing all over them - but they seemingly settle for the easy to supply toys.

The front end doesn't seem to call in reinforcements as fast as I'd like, but I can get over it when I don't have the kids with me.

Overall, nothing above deters me from visiting Menards over my own kids... and the kid tax mentioned above unless squeaky carts...

Would not recommend this place at all I worked there for 2 years and the rebates is a scam a legal scam they make you pay a extra 2 bucks Boeing some people won’t send there rebates in so that’s a extra two bucks coming out ur pocket for eveything you purchased would not recommend and there dc makes everything cheap not good quality at all will break within a week trust have had so many customers complain about it go to Walmart or blains Menards is just not worth it at this point and most of there products are returned broke and put back on the shelves so I will say it again would not recommend Muscatine Menards at all they suck at everything they do there they treated me like straight shit they are not good people and there store is honestly run down and there always talking down on blains yet they don’t even have employee bathrooms like blains or nice break rooms makes no sence wouldn’t wanna be giving my money to these...

I am a roofing contractor and honestly my favorite store compare to home D or Lows manards is the best. Today I had the Worst experience in the last 10 years in this Muscatine store. I bought 50 sheets of osb, I asked to security guard to page someone because I needed help to load. I waited 20 min back there and nothing happened, I asked for help to 2 different employees for help and they were trying to avoid me I waited there 10 more min. Then one of them told me that I had to go inside to load the osb. I end up returning everything. And yes they were not busy at all 3 employees were just playing around. I drive my truck fast out the yard (my mistake) I was frustrated by seeing so much incompetence I even saw one other customer grabbing his own latter and reach for his " j" channel siding wich I believe is against safety policy form the store. Not buying building supplies from them anymore,NOT FROM...
