The only reason I took one star away for the service was not because the server wasn't good when she was at our table but I guess being cough in my fifties let's say, I grew up waitressing but things were different then. Back then my customers didn't have to come find me or come to me to ask a question or ask for something. No matter how busy I was I would always ask them even if I was just walking by from another table if they were doing okay or needed anything. I do know that times have changed and things aren't done quite that way anymore, but aside from that the young lady we had was very nice, and had a great personality. The food was absolutely amazing which it always is. I haven't been in there ever and not had the food be good but I'm sure if it was at some point in time or something I didn't care for they seem pretty sweet and I don't think that they would have a problem taking care of it. Me personally I love the fact that almost all of the food taste homemade. And they are not shy about making sure that...
Read moreSo here’s what happened to me. Mind you I grew up with their oldest son when they moved into town. I gave my form of payment to the waitress Mindy. Who instead of swiping my card and giving it back she sets it on the counter for someone else to do. While eating the food it wasn’t the best but not the worst I ever had, we noticed that they were frantically looking for something. We quickly discover it’s for my card because it hadn’t been brought back to me. They eventually come back in force and explaining they had lost my card and toss the check down in front of me still expecting me to pay it after they just lost my card now kind you folks that my banking institution enforces a $16.05 fee to replace the card and so I give them the money to pay the bill to avoid any hassle and leave will now never...
Read moreThis place is about as horrible as I could stand. The hostess didn't say a word, but coughed loudly as they seated us. The waitress was very nice. But the food... If I wanted to eat a selection from my local grocery store frozen foods aisle id rather just do that and save the money. Watery lemonade for $3. Frozen chicken strips that are essentially microwaved to order, still server slightly warm. Waffle that is just barely not still dough, and they don't even serve with real butter. This food is on par with TV dinners and you can tell there isn't one dish on the menu that a real Chef created, or cooked. Avoid at all costs.
Muscatine has real food options available, and this place was a disgrace to food. Hoping to find a worthwhile diner here that actually...
