I signed up for the intro offer and loved it so much, I signed up for a membership. I've really enjoyed the friendliness of the staff (they've even learned my name), the difficulty of the classes (in a good way!), and the ability to be focused for a full hour. I've finally found a workout regimen I can stick to! I'm challenged each class and I'm already seeing progress. I like that the instructors challenge you, but also give you the freedom to go at your own pace or simply take it slow. The heat is an added bonus because I've always loved the sauna and sweating, and I love having a real, live instructor in class. I honestly get excited before each class and feel absolutely incredible afterwards. I also love the accountability, in that you can't just not show up for classes or cancel last minute all the time. I am a registered & certified yoga teacher with vast academic, arts, and professional education & experience. I feel that Real Hot Yoga is an excellent place to experience a yoga. It is my understanding that though Real Hot Yoga has heated room yoga classes despite our Myrtle Beach, South Carolina climate, they provide complimentary private showers, though in a communal setting, for patrons of Real Hot Yoga which is appreciated. Sorry but this place all about $$ I put my card on file and the “owner” Amanda stated I had to give the membership fee and my card gets charged either the end of the month or beginning. I said I don’t mind coming back and fixing the issue and her response was rude and not very friendly. She statedI had to pay the membership fee if I put my card on file it’s 99$ if I wanted to pay cash she said 139$ fine I don’t mind that but then she said I lost my old membership fee because I canceled. When clearly I got charged on my card twice little charges from them when I can pull up charged they charged when I wasn’t going there. Literally can find a better yoga place...
