Wow! First start with the restaurant's design. The ceiling soars in the main seating area where comfotable tables and booths abound. There is even a large palm tree to add to the vibe. Loved the open kitchen. It was nice as you saw the staff running like a well oiled machine. The "roughed out" unfinished wood on the walls was a great touch too. Now, let's talk about the service. Amazing team work by great employees. The young man helping at the hostess/host stand not only seated us but I also saw him expediting food to different tables. Our server, Tracy, was awesome. Friendly, attentive and accurate. Her recommendations were spot on. Tracy, we will definitely ask for you when we return. Okay, noq for what you have been waiting on, how was the food? Outstanding! As recommended by Tracy, try the honey mustard, hot bacon dressing with your house salad. The added almonds were a great addition too. The OMG moment is the hot, flaky, tender, melt in your mouth croissant that comes with the salad. For entrees we chose the marinated sirloin, marinated for 48 hours by the way, and a ribeye. Both were cooked to perfection. We chose baked potatoes which must have also been rolled as soft as they were. Dessert, which we rarely get was a nice finish. I had the apple crumble served with vanilla ice cream. Definitely can feed two as I did not finish mine. Delicious. The chocolate cake my bride ordered was not a "prepared fresh" there item. The only thing we would not have again. Maybe the bread pudding made with the delectable croissants next time! Thank you all! We definitely will be back!!

Carolina Roadhouse in Myrtle Beach exceeded all our expectations and left us raving about every aspect of our dining experience! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for an unforgettable meal. I ordered the sirloin, and it was simply perfection. The steak had an incredible flavor, a mouthwatering crust, and was cooked to the exact temperature I requested. It was tender, juicy, and every bite was a delight. Accompanying my steak was a delicious Caesar salad, and the buttery, flaky croissant that came with it was a delightful surprise. The garlic mashed potatoes were the perfect side, creamy and full of rich garlic flavor. My husband and dad opted for the Monster Dog, and they were both blown away by the sheer size and taste of their meal. The portion was enormous, and the flavor was superb—definitely a dish that lives up to its name! My son devoured the large shrimp, praising its fresh and delicious taste, while my daughter enjoyed the kids' chicken tenders, which were crispy and flavorful. Every dish we ordered was fantastic, showcasing the high quality and care put into the food at Carolina Roadhouse. The service was attentive and friendly, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. We left completely satisfied and already looking forward to our next visit. Carolina Roadhouse is a must-visit gem in Myrtle Beach, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional meal!

Overall, a positive experience. The food was good, but not great. There are hundreds of other steakhouses that will give you the same food…for a better price. My wife’s steak was overcooked, but not egregiously. Not worth sending it back for how long it took to come out in the first place. My swordfish was cooked well, but was super bland. Apparently the guy in charge of seasoning the fish called in sick today. The croissants and the garlic mashed potatoes were awesome though! I highly recommend both of those. Our server, Ryan, was excellent. Very attentive, but not overly, and would actually anticipate needs before we even asked. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was just boring. It is a beautiful interior, but nothing to make it stand out from anywhere else. Due to its size, the dining room was inherently loud, but the noise level was added to by the open kitchen which contributed with lots of extra sounds. Was it good? Sure. Was it worth the 30 minute drive from Surfside Beach? Definitely not. Many other places that would have delivered the same experience, if not better, within a much closer area. If you are in the northern Myrtle Beach area, it’s probably worth a look. Value? I thought it was a bit overpriced for what you got. You could get as good, if not better, food at a chain like Texas Roadhouse, and pay half the amount. But that’s just my opinion.

I had never ate here before. The wait was about 45 minutes. We went about 7 pm. The place was packed as expected. Thankfully no music was playing! It was actually kind of quiet even though every table was taken and we could see into the kitchen. We didn't have to yell at each other. The waitress was very nice but a little difficult to understand due to her accent. She was quick and refilled without us asking. Excellent service. We placed our order and the croissants came out. They were a little soggy as if microwaved but tasted good. Other places make them a little crispier. We did eat them all (total of 7). We got a salad each and the marinated sirloin and potatoes. Tea and sprite. They do NOT have shredded cheese for salad and the toppings they do have for house salad wasn't appealing but I'd say most people may like it. They just tear a sliced piece of cheese up if requested. I ended up with just lettuce and ranch. Which is fine. I can improvise. The lettuce was fresh and the ranch was good. Very prompt service. By the time we finished with one thing another came out. I almost didn't look up from my food it was so good. The steak was so good I ate most of it without A1 which I have never done. It was perfectly well done, not burned to a crisp and it was tender. The mashed potatoes were very good. I ate those so fast the waitress thought they forgot them! I can't wait to eat here again! It was a bit expensive. We paid roughly 90 dollars after tip. The waitress did ask if we would like dessert but we couldn't eat anything else tonight. As well as the desserts are 7.00+. Little high priced but I didn't see the portions either.

The only issues I could find is 1: The lighting on the side we were on which was to the left of the entrance... Once the sun went down it was dark. I almost couldn't see the receipt. There is a light way up the wall and a tiny candle but it offered no light to the table. During the day it might be more lighting through the big windows. 2: Not many soda options. I think there was 4-5 and none were appealing and they weren't listed on the menu. So I got sprite (not my favorite but drinkable). There are a lot of different alcohol choices. There is a good sized bar with a beautiful bartop. I saw it as we were leaving.

THANK YOU for not playing music or screaming/singing out birthday announcements! That was definitely a perk. After a day in crowds of people I was glad we could relax without the extra chaos. After reading reviews on a lot of restaurants I am glad this one did not disappoint! We may eat here everyday for the rest of our vacation.

Thank you to the chef for knowing how...

I dined her on 8.15.24 and three weeks later have been contemplating whether I wanted to leave a review. I have gone back and forth on it. What ultimately compelled me to write was that I saw another review which echoed some of my concerns.

The service is awful. Just awful. It's a pretty busy restaurant, we were warned about that when the place was suggested to us. We were visiting from our of town. Starting with our hostess experience, there were maybe 3-4 people there at a time. I am sure that they weren't following the waitlist. Others even notice this and complains were made. Finally, after waiting over an hour they escorted us to a DIRTY TABLE. Can you believe that, I couldn't believe it. There was table the same size across from us and I ASKED, " Hey can we just seat there?". She told us no, so we (a group of 7) stood up and was in EVERYBODYS way as they cleaned the table. I just know the other customers were upset and what made it evem more uncomfortable. We were the only hybrid family. 2 minutes into awkwardly standing up the other table was sat and approached. I asked the hostess why not clean the table before seating a group and she said and I quote," We do that sometime to keep the time moving". I was ready to walk out but we waited so long and was told the food was good. After finally seating down and getting ourself situated. We wasn't approach by a waitress and didn't even have water after being there 15mins. I had to WALK back up to the hostess desk to ask for a server. Finally got a server and he was GREAT, kept trying to apologize. We ordered appetizers and salads. When they arrived we realized we didn't have any silverware so we asked. The server came back and said we don't have any but they are cleaning and rolling some now. I was completely DONE. The manager did come over to listen to my concerns but didn't offer an apology and explanation about the slow service but looking at other reviews, I think the explanation given was not as genuine as I had thought when I was there. The reality, they have a slow service problem. It is consistent. Much of the waitstaff feels like they are trying to figure it out. If this had been my restaurant I would have been significantly compensating for the slow service and unprofessional service and poor food. We didn't...

My friend and I, along with my son, decided to have lunch at this location. The entire restaurant was nearly empty, so we thought we missed the lunch crowd. The waiter arrived and we ordered waters with lemon. The waiter arrived back with the water but no lemons. We started ordering our food, and my son wanted a burger. He preferred American cheese, but the waiter informed me that it had to be cheddar or Colby, so I looked at my son for an answer. Well, the waiter took that as I don't know my cheeses, so he vegan to describe the color of the cheese types. I corrected him with a smile that I was well aware of the different types of cheese. And I reminded him of the lemons. The whole time we're at the table, our waiter visited two other tables near us at least 5-7 times refilling waters, joking, and just being pleasant ,and we were not provided the same service. After a while, another waitress brought our food, and he came a few minutes afterward. My son and friend's order was not correct. By this now, I've asked for a manager, and it was amazing how fast almost everything was corrected by the waiter at the same time the manager arrived at the table. The manager apologized and offered us a new waitress who was better but still lacking. I asked for napkins from both the waiter and waitress and never received them. My friend's hush puppies came out cold because im sure that they had been just and waiting for a while in the kitchen. My fries were cold by the time we received our ketchup. Overall, this was a terrible experience, but the waitress actually thought she was going to get a $40 tip. Then, to make it worse, the manager didn't even come back to check to see if things had improved or acknowledged us as we left, and most of the food was still untouched on the table. We will not be back, if this is the type of service they have been reduced too when the restaurant maybe had 5...
