My wife and I can in for a simple resizing and soldering a two piece wedding band/engagement ring together. Before coming to this place it was a gorgeous beautiful symmetrical piece of art. We come in and they are very friendly and welcoming awesome start. They asked us what we wanted to do. We informed them that we wanted to go down in size and have them soldered together. Explaining that to have them soldered together would be charged as a separate ring. So in all we were soldering 3 rings together and dropping the size to a 6.5. They confirmed everything we were inquiring about. They wrote on our "ticket" what we wanted qs far as the sizing but didn't put the soldering down, even though that was one of the last things talked about. They send us a message stating our ring is ready to be picked up. When my wife went and picked it up the only thing they did right was resize and clean it. The two rings we had were now three rings. My wife called me bawling her eyes out bc her ring was destroyed. Being the husband I am I tried comforting her the best I could with as much optimism as I could muster. They sent her ring off for another 2 weeks. I picked it up this time. Seeing the ring, I could see the soldering lines were seeping through the cracks of each ring. When my wife got a hold of it she noticed that solder wasn't even straight. The engagement ring was crooked and laid over to one side quite a bit. So much that the wedding bands diamonds were touch the bottom of the engagement ring on one side. The rings were off centered by quite a bit. Again the only good thing out if this one was the resizing and cleaning. My wife explains to the owner of how important the ring is to her and how it's messed up and how we had brackets on the back of the wedding band and now they were gone. The ring was off centered and not soldered right yet again. They agree to take $50 off our total for the inconvenience and issues that we have had. For the 3rd time they send it off for yet another 2 weeks so 1.5 months of having an issue and they are finally going to make it right. She said she would make sure it was straight and get it soldered the correct way and but the brackets back on all of it. Two weeks go by and we get a message saying it's ready. My wife goes and picks up her ring again and this time they tried to put it back to how it was before without the soldering and yet manage to mess that up too. The wedding band is wider apart now the brackets they took off and put back on are now twice as big as they were before. The engagement ring lays in the wedding band much loose than it was before. They completely ruined my wife's wedding ring. They took a $5,000+ ring and completely annihilated it. If you value your wife's happiness do not I repeat DO NOT GET ANY ALTERATIONS DONE AT THIS JOKE OF A PLACE.
They did not charge us anything in the end but the customer service itself was horrendous. When my wife brought up her issues she had with the ring each time, the owner was very snide and condescending. Like it was unbelievable that we didn't like her crappy work. How in the world could we not like her work. Acting like her poop don't stink. Need to learn how to treat...
Read moreMy girlfriend (now fiance) stopped by LaDon's to drop off gifts for Allona's Angels this past year. While there, she had the opportunity to "window shop" and build her perfect ring. She spent a lot of time talking with LaDon and her team. When she came home, she began hinting that if I were to propose, I HAD TO buy the ring from LaDon's.
I went to LaDon's several weeks later, and to my surprise, LaDon remembered my girlfriend and the exact ring configuration she liked. I was impressed! Needless to say, that made the ring-buying experience all that much easier. What I thought would be an hours-long endeavor took only about 15 minutes.
When I finally proposed, my fiance was over the moon! She absolutely loved the ring and couldn't believe how perfect it turned out!
LaDon and her team are truly magic makers. They did such a fantastic job. We will certainly be...
Read moreWhen my sons finger swelled up from an injury and 2 urgent cares couldn’t get his ring off LaDon took us under her wing and tried every tool she had to get it off. She spent over an hour with us and even broke one of her ring cutters on the tough stainless steel (don’t ever buy stainless steel rings!!). When she couldn’t get it off she called the fire department and got instructions on where to send us. The fire department was able to cut through the stainless steel. LaDon not only didn’t charge us a dime for her time (another jeweler said it would be $150) but her and Vicki spoiled my son with chocolate and a new ring. I can tell you she has a customer for life. We will only go to LaDon’s for our Jewelry purchases...
