Firehouse Subs Happy Valley — Restaurant in Nampa

Food was excellent. Experience wasn’t, but I don’t think that should change 5 stars because everyone will always have different experiences when going. I also don’t think it always is like that for someone because they were clearly a busy location. It just needs to be a little more user friendly for people who maybe don’t eat there every day... It was my first time going and I just wanted to look at the menu before ordering and was told three separate times to move to the register because they were waiting on me. I mentioned more than once I needed just a minute, and didn’t even stand anywhere near the register so others could go ahead of me. I was still beckoned down, so I thought maybe the cashier would help me with questions but instead said “well why don’t you just tell me what you don’t want on it” but... I didn’t know what DID come on it. I had no idea what to even pick. I ordered 3 different sandwiches (which is why I wanted a minute to look... I wasn’t just ordering for me). All three were awesome sandwiches. Two were in the bag when they read it back to me and I did have to go back inside to get the third because it was on the ticket but not in the bag (and, not actually made either). Just wanted to say to slow down a little, because not everyone would want to give something a second try when they feel like they are an inconvenience for taking too long. The food was hot, fresh, and had amazing flavor. It’s a great concept. It just for me might be (for me) an online order...

I was starving and my bf and and I decided to try this place. First impression was happy to see kids running around in firemen hats. As we get to the register no one acknowledges us until we hear 10 and 12. Which means someone up front. They guy takes our order. We look for a table to sit there are four every one of them dirty. We sat at the least dirtiest spot. I go to the restroom to wash my hands and its super dirty. Next they call out my bf name and pack it to go which we dine in. Not a problem until I opened our bag. They gave us chili when we order chicken dumpling. I went to the counter and they seemed confused. Problem was I heard the lady say it wasn't ready and served me the uncooked cold soup. I opened my sandwich which was the New York Steamer. I was like wow this is small. It was soggy and no flavor. I told my bf they didnt put cornbeef on it either. So I ate a pastrami with mayo and slight deli mustard u couldnt taste. My bf gave me half of his meatballs sub. He thinks they packed our order to go because they knew they didnt have the soup or cornbeef. Makes me wonder why they acted so confused almost like...

Not impressed with my first visit here. I’ve heard nothing but good things from family and was exited to try it. Came in and first thing off the batt a worker was basically yelling to the other workers about how they are messing up. After another guest comes up with a messed up sandwich the chaos continues. And later find out the one yelling is the assistant manager “ish” is his name. Continues to basically bully a worker named tyson because Ish messed up the sandwich and didn’t want to take credit for the mess up. You can clearly tell tyson is semi new as he’s asking questions and trying to make sure he’s getting orders. This was an embarrassment to watch and I truly felt bad for the other workers if this is who their management is. Will not recommend this is this is how managers are treating their employees.

To top it off I wrote this as waiting for our food. And watch another employee cough on multiple sandwiches. Leaving me disgusted to...
