Noodles and Company — Restaurant in Nampa

Update : the area manager, Andrew, located in twin falls, did contact me and send me a hand written and addressed card with 2 free bowl coupons and 1 bogo free coupon. The after support from this issue has been satisfactory and I’ve increased my rating from 1 star to 2 stars.

Worse than unimpressive. I placed an online order, through their website, at 9:13pm, for one meal. When I arrived at 9:45pm and it was my turn at the counter I let them know I was there for a pickup order and my name, the person at the counter couldn’t find my food, and asked me to double check if it was at this location. I did so and read off the address to confirm if that is where they were, the employee stared at me blankly, so I clarified and they wanted to see my phone to confirm it said noodles co Nampa. They left and went into the back again, and came back telling me they don’t take orders after 9:45pm and I wouldn’t be able to get any food. I told them my card was already charged, and I would like my food. They turned and went to the back again without saying anything to me, and came back to tell me I needed to get a refund with door dash, I told them again I ordered through the noodles website, and I placed my order 30 before they said they stop taking orders. They again turned and left to the back without a word. Eventually someone from the kitchen peaked above the counter and told me someone was working on my refund. The person who completed the refund stepped one step around the kitchen corner, told me my refund is done and gave me a thumbs up and turned back around.

This is easily the worst service I have received at a food place in years, and definitely the worst noodles and co experience I’ve had. I have only had good experiences elsewhere, but honestly this was ridiculous and incredibly frustrating, I didn’t get my diner that I paid for, and drove 20 minutes round trip for, in additional to almost no communication from the employees.

I really recommend you do not come to this store based on my and other reviews I read today. Go anywhere...

1 star because there is no "zero". I've eaten at Noodles for years. Mostly from the Boise store on Broadway. I was pretty happy when they opened this one in Nampa, where I live. I gave them a fair amount of time to get their act together. Apparently it wasn't enough time. I went in today to get my wife and I lunch. It was a Sunday at about 1PM. Rush hour had passed. We ordered a spicy Korean beef and the Grilled Orange Chicken Lo Mein and the Spicy Korean Beef Noodles to go. After waiting awhile we decided to stay because the restaurant was nearly empty. When they called my name I went up and collected my "to go" order. Back to our table, unpacking our order, there were both orders, but only one fork and one knife. No big deal, but "noted". I went to the order desk and asked for another fork which they gladly provided. Ahh, now to enjoy the meal! But alas, no. The noodles in the Lo mein may have been good yesterday, or perhaps the day before, but were absolute mush today. Also, it was supposed to have grilled chicken, snap peas, napa and red cabbage topped with green onions, black sesame seeds and cilantro. But no! Just the slop they called noodles, something or other in there, and some grilled chicken. That's it. Oh, and one single piece of cilantro thrown on top for color. Basically, it sucked. Big time. However, my wife's Spicy Korean Beef Noodles was even worse. I won't waste my time to describe it. We ate about 1/3rd of our meals, tossed the rest in the trash and left, never to return again. Absolute garbage. What a waste of good, hard...

Friendly staff, clean bathrooms, nice outside area. I ordered two large orange apple chicken salad and two waters. The store was not busy when I arrived around 2PM. My order took way too long and I was informed of no avacodos were available. However my salad did have them when it arrived. The wait for my order was very long, too long. Also, the dressings were not full even though I was given two it was less than one. For the price and size of the salad...I would have the expectation of full dressing cups. However, the lettuce was fresh and clean. The taste of the salad was good. I could not find a fork although other condiments were available and accessible. The fork came out after my meal was delivered. The outside area must have a trash and station to dispose of trash and plates. I eat at other outside establishments and its not a problem. Even where its windy. Its a pain to eat outside and not be able to leave through the outside gate without traveling back through the small dinning area around folks at the drink station to just clean up. I would have given a high review except for these details which are...
