I had gone to this Target on 1/3/23. I had purchased an item at this Target about 10 days prior but at the time I did not have my Target debit card on me so I put it on a credit card. Since I was in the area and had the Target card on me this time I wanted to return the item and put it on the Target card. The item had also gone on clearance at this Target since I bought it. The lady at the service desk however would not let me return the item and repurchase it at the clearance price and said I would have to wait to buy it again when it goes on the floor meaning I would have to go back the next day even though she could have easily just rang it back up after the return. Plus it would have saved the Target employees from having to do additional reshop. If I was trying to price match a clearance item from a different store I could understand that not being allowed, but it's literally the same Target store and same store I purchased the item at.
Not sure if it may be a store to store basis, but I went to 2 different Targets today and asked about rebuying an item that goes on clearance shortly after paying full price for it and BOTH of the stores said they would have no issues with adjusting the price to the clearance price if it is that price at their store. So I'm not sure if Naperville store has a different policy or if the employee may have been too lazy to do the return and then ring up the item again. She did have a look of not wanting to be bothered with doing the work and not wanting to deal with any returns and it REALLY showed from her responses and how she reacted. She was also like that to the customer before me as well when the customer had a question about her Target card. Not sure if the employee is newer or not but would probably be better off as a normal cashier and not...

Alexa was an amazing manager who understands how to manage a business. The Customer Service we received from her and her associates was professional, efficient, respectful, and enjoyable. We ended up spending almost double what we normally would have because of the great experience.
We loved the selection of products this Target has.
I, James, was almost shocked personally of the price reductions of certain type of health and beauty aids and detergents. They made Walmart look āexpensiveā in some cases. Very happy to see this positive trend.
We know Target got into a lot of hot water due to a lot of cultural and political issues, and Iām of the mind that they should just stay out of that stuff and just sell products. Well, that positive trend has seemed to continue and we loved going to this store and cannot wait to come back; and this is a significant statement because . . . I, James, personally do not take any pleasure in going to any business on route 59 in Naperville and or Aurora if I donāt have to.
Route 59 is obnoxious and thereās almost too many businesses and itās like one big strip megamall along the way. Yes, improvements have been made, but itās almost obnoxious and too busy.
Keep up the great work! Again, the customer service desk employees were amazing and so personable and conversational and professional. Excellent job and they should be recognized. Great job Alexa with your staff. Alexa should be recognized in an age when too many people arenāt.
This Target bucks the trend and is classy it doesnāt make you feel like youāre on the route 59...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDianna at self-checkout was absolutely awful! I waited in line at self checkout there were about three people in front of me and every station full. I had two big sized bins stacked on one another and one Frozen meal sitting on top of the bin lid. I am a Hispanic woman in my 40ās with my own business but you would never tell as I was in joggers, long sleeved shirt and fall vest. Dianna targeted me the second I stood in line. She left her area where she should have been watching all the people scanning to come where I was standing in line, three people in line behind) to count the two bins as if it wasnāt obvious that it was two. And then when I finally got to the register in this harsh tone she was like āIām going to need you to separate them to make sure there is nothing insideā loud enough for everyone to hear, practically already accusing me of stealing causing several customers at their own checkout stations to turn. She could have said āsorry just procedure, do you mind opening the binā Another worker heard and immediately came to help me separate them. I guess the other white customers scanning their items were of no concern to her as she hovered over me as I scanned my three items until a customer called her over. Absolutely appalling. Never again! Sorry to disappoint you Karen, not all Hispanics are thieves just as there are some white individuals...
