My husband and I decided to stop in after church today for a nice lunch. When we first walked in there were 3 ladies standing by the entrance/hostess podium and just looked at us like a deer in a headlight. I had to break the silence by saying hello. That should have been enough to turn back out..Meanwhile we were seated and our waitress came to the table right away to take an order. Usually in my experience when the drink menu is still open take a hint and perhaps make a suggestion and let the party know you will be back. She stood awkwardly there while I took a few moments or two to decide. I asked her if she tried 2 of the different margaritas. She uttered without any enthusiasm she wouldn't know she has only tried the mango margarita. What was odd, she didn't even recommend the mango. As our experience lingered, my husband and I placed an order for a porterhouse tbone med rare and I placed appetizer order for the( Texas fries), and also placed an order for prime rib medium rare.

The first thing that came out were the salads. I was surprised? Thinking how did she skip my appetizer and serve part of my meal ??? We finally get the fries and the dang cheese isn't melted. Its come to my conclusion it was cheap or fake cheese. Minutes later she serves the remainder of my meal. That set the bar.... Generally when a couple is prepared to spend over a 100 bucks for lunch back off and let us enjoy our appetizer and give us 5 mins to enjoy. My husband's steak was rare and served cold. My prime rib- utter disappointment. Was rare and luke warm as if it were sitting around. I was so disgusted with the service and rhe food by then I asked for boxes. She could see the majority of the meal had not been eaten why would she ask me how many boxes I need? She never offered to get myself or husband another glass of wine nor did she ask how everything was. Had she, I may have told her. Am I wrong here, but only a server would know how large, and what the take home boxes can hold? I quickly filled 4 boxes up as I could have used a 5th. Server comes back asked us how we wanted to pay. So I finally disregarded her bad service and asked for a bag I shouldn't have to beg. Lazy server apparently thought i was going to walk through the restaurant with 4 bulging boxes without a bag? We will not be back based on our dining experience, coupled with the poor quality of food and or lack of training in the kitchen. I also saw and heard the couple in front of our table complaining about something about their meals and saw they left unhappy. That couple was also posting a video on social media calling out roadhouse and she claimed there was bugs baked into the rolls and in the butter. Im going to search for their upload. Come to think of it my husband and I had to swat at several flies buzzing around. So who knows? Texas roadhouse you have some serious competition on rt 59..next time ill dine across the street at the lazy dog like I wanted to go in the first place. My husband wanted to dine roadhouse so I agreed. I can ramble on and on, but this place is not worth another minute of my time. I hope whom ever reads this actually spare themselves the agony of poor service and poor quality food and...

We visited this location (Aurora/Naperville) on Tuesday, 22 July. We were seated at our table, were not provided any rolls (they were out but making new ones) but told "I’ll bring you rolls when they are done", never saw the hostess again. More than 5 minutes later server came to table took drink orders and left. Meanwhile all the tables around us were being brought additional baskets of rolls. Another 5 minutes, server returns with drinks and asks, "Oh did you want some rolls?", Yes that would be nice. While waiting on two separate occasions, two other servers tried to deliver other parties meals to our table, and we had not even ordered yet. Another 5 minutes later, server returns saying, "yeah they are out of them, but I’ll get you some when they make some more". Meanwhile Hostess seats another party at the booth next to us, and yes, they had rolls when they sat down as well as two other tables around us were brought rolls. Finally, the server returns with a basket or rolls and takes our order 15-20 minutes after we had been seated. Took our order and we waited. Maybe 15-20 minutes later the table that was seated 15 minutes after us, received their salads and another 4-5 minutes received their meals. 30 minutes later we still had not received our meals, nothing. The table next to us was now almost done with their meals. Finally, 35-40 minutes we were finally brought our meals. My wife’s meal was completely different than what she had ordered, I went to the front to ask to speak to a manager (Jenn Bross) who then followed me back to our table, where we had explained everything that had been happening. The server had already taken the incorrect meal back to the kitchen when I returned so that it could be corrected. Jenn stated she was going to check on the status and see "how it was entered into the kitchen". She left and I cut into my steak (Which I ordered Extra Well Done) and it was blood raw in the center. Jenn returned to the table at which point I am beyond upset, I stated that we had waited 35-40 minutes and my steak wasn’t cooked as I had ordered. She stated yes, it looks medium rare, which would be generous. At this point we were finished, and I informed Jenn that we were leaving, we were done. Jenn replied well I will take the food off your bill, but you must pay for the alcohol (my wife had two beers, one of which she had not begun to drink). Jenn's snotty sarcastic attitude towards us clearly is reflective of how this place is managed. It's an embarrassment to an otherwise great restaurant. Jenn sensing that we were far from happy about this experience stated just you know what I'll pay for the alcohol, and I replied no, I’m not taking free alcohol, I paid for the two beers, one of which was left untouched on table. I asked for her card so that I could contact corporate to which she replied "Good, I’ll look forward to speaking with you". This entire management team needs to...

UPDATE it has been way over a month no comment no anything I even emailed no response but yet all these new reviews have comments from the establishment back . I ended up recalling the store talking to Sam wow she is great 10/10. I did find out though that they dont handle the comment cooperate does and if that's true you guys should be utterly ashamed of yourself . I left the review and even emailed and you guys and cooperate blatantly ignored me which is wild shows a lot about the company itself .

So today was very disappointing. We have been going to Texas Roadhouse religiously since it was further down on 59 . Truly is one of our families favorite places . Today we received the text to come inside at 4:54 were sitting by 5 waiter came took the drink orders and appetizers super fast . Once the appetizer came she had took our order . Everything was fine but then we started realizing that's it's been a while we started wondering where our food was . The food didn't end up coming up till 551. When the food arrived we already have been waiting and we asked for a small plate for our daughter to eat . The waiter said yes walked away and took so long to come back that we ended up getting the plate ourselves and that's when the manager came over and that's when this went bad . Once again we have came for years never had a problem but when we told the manager what happened she comes back and goes well we clock everything so when your drinks were rang in and your food wasn't rang in until closer till 530 which means you guys have only been waiting 25 min ??? And you guys are already halfway through your dinner ? First off why would we lie about that and then as a a manger what are you saying ? Are you accusing us of lying or did YOUR waiter mess up and not ring the order in until past ten minutes after she took the order from us? Then what the hell does us being half way done mean we literally scarfed our food down cause our ten month old was getting fussy already from waiting so long and then she had to wait again to even get a plate to start eating they actually didn't even bring the plate until the manager was at the table talking to us . This actually upset us so much we didn't finish our food didn't get boxed paid our bill and got up and left . I think this closed the chapter of our families going to Texas Roadhouse because that was extremely unprofessional and ridiculous. If the kitchen was backed up that's one thing maybe don't mass sit people if the kitchen can't keep up . And manager wise get a new one cause I can't believe she really came up to us like that I'm pretty sure if the plate wasn't placed on the table she would have told us we lied about...

Having been a regular customer and this recent visit really got me shocked (not in a pleasant way). Food: Ordered a MEDIUM T-bone and the picture was what I got. It looked and tasted undercooked and I did not eat one more bite on what was left on plate. (I mean this is a steakhouse after all. Why do I think I can cook better t-bones myself?) Service: I told our waiter about the dish, he was a nice guy but could not make any decisions. He checked in the kitchen and came back saying 10% off (like $7) was the best they could do. I felt I needed more an apology from the kitchen for a poorly prepared dish, while the 10% looked more like saying “take your money and stop causing troubles”. We asked to speak to the manager. The manager (Jarrett’s) showed up with a do-not-mess-with-us attitude. All she asked was “what you want?”. All she said was take the discount or nothing. No apology! No sympathy! Not even “how can I help you?”throughout this talk. (When she left, she just turned around the stepped away without saying anything. I did not know that was the new manner in this industry.) One logic that I felt laughable - her argument was you already ate part of the dish, and thus nothing we could do. The problem was I wouldn’t know half the dish was under cooked before I cut and tasted it. And, you can at least recognize your mistake and offer apology and regret for this dish and my experience in the restaurant, maybe?

This was a nice dinner. It is quite loud and mostly for younger crowd. The peanuts are a nice touch. It was very busy on a Friday evening, we waited 20 minutes. We got a nice booth seating. Service is great. The bread is freshly baked and very fluffy. The butter for the bread is sweet cinnamon… The steak is a nice tender cut and very juicy marbled and fire charred but had no seasoning even though we specifically asked for extra seasoning. Sides are very small. And almost everything has pork in it so you can’t modify it. The fried pickles appetizer was awesome and the ranch was fresh thick homemade and the buffalo sauce was homemade quite spicy peppery with black pepper and maybe cayenne with lingering heat just really the best buffalo sauce we’ve had, more orange in color than red and not vinegary sour like others. All in all it was a great experience, just wish the steak had seasoning and the sides were bigger and with more options. Also the sides were cold- the mash potato and the corn were cold and mix veggies was more carrots and few broccoli, mushrooms were cold and no seasoning. Fried pickles were awesome and I think the jalapeno bites would have been awesome too but we didn’t try it. Oh and it was cheaper than longhorn but longhorn has better steak seasoning and bigger sides without pork.
