This has always been one of my favorite stores to shop at. They usually have a great selection of merchandise, including baby and kidsâ items, womenâs clothing, jewelry, and more. Unfortunately, their customer service has been the worst Iâve ever encountered. The employees are extremely unprofessional and rude. I understand there may be long lines during peak hours, but the cashiersâ lack of urgency only makes things worse. Theyâre often chatting among themselves instead of focusing on the customer in front of them.
Also, make sure youâre in line and out of the store well before closing, because the employees will hunt you down and tell you to leave immediately the moment the clock hits 9:30. I get that retail workers are tired and want to go home but many customers spend hours shopping and hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars. They donât deserve to be rushed out so aggressively.
I personally had an unpleasant encounter with one of the employees close to closing time. What shocked me even more was the manager, Amy L., and her inability to de-escalate the situation. Her dismissive and unprofessional behavior made the situation worse. As a long-time TJMaxx customer, I expected better treatment and basic respect.

   Read moreSadly, this store is experiencing customer theft, and even though they have cameras and are aware of the crime, their managers do nothing about it. Instead, customers are left in the lurch. On May 25th, I went to the store to make some returns, and between 10:30 and 11:00 a.m., my wallet was stolen, along with all my documents, cards, and even receipts from purchases from that and other stores. I immediately reported the incident to the manager, who told me she didn't have access to the cameras. I told her my receipts were also there, and she said there was nothing she could do since I had already called and canceled my store credit card. She said I had to wait until I received a new card to make the refund. When I received my card, I returned to the store and approached the same manager and reminded her of my situation. She tried to refund the money using a store gift card, but according to her, it wasn't possible because it was denied. I had already made other returns without receipts at Marshalls, a different store, where I also had to return the items without a receipt because they were in the same stolen wallet. I finally returned home with the things I had bought for my daughter, and they hadn't fit...
   Read moreVery rude and unprofessional customer service! Was returning online order at 9:15 pm, cashier young man was helping me with my order, he was polite and helpful. In the middle of the transaction the other cashier lady who barely spoke English interrupted the conversation and asked the young man cashier not to take my order, because the store is closing at 9:30 pm. I kindly asked her if customers are already on the line and register and even the front doors of the store are still open, other cashier is already helping me, whatâs the issue⌠she was just ignoring me and saying we are closing now.. That moment on the line after me was two more customers waiting for other cashiers⌠and technically the stores entrance doors are still open for public and no sign the store is closed.. instead of assisting and just simply doing her job and finishing a transaction, she was talking in Spanish language with unhappy face looking at me, itâs made me feel very uncomfortable. Sorry, the customer service need more training and knowledge of the basic level of respect.
