North Beach Club House — Local services in Narragansett

Beautiful venue but horrible staff. Nevermind the fact that the cost was way more than expected and having to jump through hurdles with getting proper insurance, etc for outside vendors that aren't theirs... I was so upset with the parking/beach situation. First off they don't allow you to have a wedding on the beach it needs to be on the deck. Still beautiful but a bit disappointing. Also the day of our wedding I couldn't even get a parking spot due to the amount of people using the beach!! (After Labor Day) they told us that we didn't rent the parking lot we rented the venue!! So rude!! ALSO because there was a large amount of people on the beach all of my wedding pictures have tons and tons of people in the background, beach go-ers were watching the ceremony (didn't feel intimate) and we couldn't get any decent photographs on the beach of the wedding party afterward. The woman running it also stays and lurks around the entire time to watch and make sure no one is doing anything they aren't supposed to? And even screwed up and told me I wasn't aloud to have a dj right before I walked down the isle?? But then called her boss and was like oh whoops you can. Way to make a bride panic!!! Would not recommend this venue...

We are so happy that we booked the North Beach Clubhouse for our wedding day on 10/26/24. The venue and location were absolutely stunning. We had our ceremony on the deck overlooking the ocean which made the perfect background for photos. Our guests were all so impressed by the beachside location. The layout of the venue allows for plenty of socializing and dancing; our guests had options to be inside, outside on the deck, and go onto the beach. It was the perfect size for our wedding guest count of 82.

Additionally, the staff members were all very friendly and quick to respond to any questions or requests. Margie and Lisa helped book and coordinate my event, keeping me updated along the way. They provided a list of preferred vendors who were all absolutely amazing and familiar with the venue, allowing for a stress-free day.

Overall, we could not have imagined a more perfect venue! I'd definitely recommend for...

For the most part the north beach clubhouse was perfect for my wedding day! My only true complaint was that when we booked the venue we were told it was gonna cost several hundred dollars to rent a tent for the deck- which was fine at the time. Then when it came time to actually purchase the rental and pay they had changed vendors and it went up in price to $1,500. I understand that’s not their doing but having little notice on that was frustrating. But overall I had the best day of my life and I wouldn’t go back and change the venue over a little issue...
