Came here with my family on our annual vacation as I wanted some fresh sushi but they don't like sushi. We liked the variety of options they had here.
We basically ordered some of nearly everything on the menu -- I got a bunch of nigiri and a special roll, we had a few people get the hibachi chicken+rice (with noodles), a stir fry, an udon and a few apps.
Everyone love their food. The nigiri was fresh and delicious and the diablo roll was really good and surprisingly decently spicy. I tried some of the udon and the hibachi chicken and rice and they were both great as well.
The sushi wasn't super value price-wise; it was just average or maybe even slightly expensive, and the stir fry dish looked pretty small. But I thought the udon and the hibachi chicken + rice were great value, lots of leftovers went home. The appetisers started with the most phenomenal and delicious meals of my lifetime— gyoza( the filling is so tasty, slightly fried and perfectly crisp); crab Rangoon— crispy, light with the best filling that is not super sweet and overpowering yet I could taste crab and cream cheese individually; nama ( tuna and salmon) crisps— super light and delicious with fresh ingredients—— genius presentation and dish. Garlic noodles with shrimp- sooo delicious. For sushi— we had fireworks and samurai sushi —- and can I tell you how amazing and fresh it was. Jaw dropping experience, fast service, amazing servers and beautiful ambience. 1000000/100 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Unforgettable experience. Keep up on this...
Read moreTsunama is a hidden gem in Narragansett! My wife and I had an incredible experience at this family-owned sushi spot in the Pier Marketplace. We were warmly welcomed by Fiona, who was friendly and knowledgeable. We started with the Tsunama Crisp—chopped toro tuna, and chopped salmon served on a delicate rice crisp—was packed with flavor. We also enjoyed the torched toro with its sweet and slightly spicy sauce was another standout, along shrimp tempura and a variety of nigiri—escobar, mackerel, scallop, and hamachi nigiri. Everything was incredibly fresh and well-prepared.
It’s clear that the passion behind this family-run business comes through in both the food and the service. This will absolutely be one of our go-to sushi spots. If you’re in the Narragansett area, do yourself a favor...
