We were recommended Celeste from our tour guide Yuri(sp) at URI. We were a little nervous as we were told this was only the second night open envisioning long waits or missing menu items. All fears quickly disappeared as Celeste revealed itself to be a warm, well rehearsed, ready for prime time dining experience. The environment doesn't feel like it was pulled out of a casual or fine dining style book. Warm incandescent lighting shines on white paneling in an interior that feels both cozy and open at the same time. There was a pretty healthy crowd, but we could easily converse without straining to hear one another. The food was phenomenal. We ordered several small plates including the shrimp, lamb meatballs, patatas bravas and the fig and prosciutto pizza. Only the Patatas Bravas was a bit disapointing, overly sauced in a gravy that we felt didn't accurately reflect this iconic tapas staple. Minor hiccup. Every other dish was cooked amazingly well, with a great portion size even for small plates. Drinks were well made and the whole meal was well beyond a great value. For lunch, our family of three spent almost 60 dollars at Shake Shack. At Celeste we spent $95 and that included drinks! I can't remember the last time we had a meal that was this good of a value. Service was impeccable. Dishes came out incredibly fast and our server was attentive and friendly enough without being onerous. Celeste has a bright future. UPDATE: came back 3 months later and the food and service has only improved. Our server Colton was probably one of the best we've had anywhere all year, drinks are good value and we'll made and the whipped Feta with Pita is a must. Summer crowds make reservations a must.

My wife and I had an incredible experience at Celeste. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and our server, Cole, was fantastic—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. His recommendations were spot-on, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choices. We started with the lamb meatball and patatas bravas appetizers, both of which were outstanding. I had the Double Barrel cocktail, which was perfectly balanced, and my wife loved her drink as well. For our main courses, I had the Bavette steak, which was cooked to perfection, and my wife had the corn lobster risotto, which was rich, flavorful, and one of the best risotto dishes I’ve ever tried (I don’t mean to exaggerate but it really was that good). We finished the evening with the chocolate tart for dessert, along with a pistachio martini that was the perfect finale to the meal. One thing that really stood out was the layout of the restaurant. I walked in with the impression that it was a single dining room from the photos that I saw on Google, but Celeste is actually a series of intimate and comfortable rooms, each with its own cozy vibe, which really added to the overall experience. We had a truly amazing evening and I can’t recommend Celeste highly enough. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Narragansett. Special thanks to Cole for making our night so memorable!

New gem we found in narragansett! Half roofed outdoor seating area was breezy, comfortable and lovely. Assigned parking spaces next to the restaurant. Complimentary Foccacia with dipping olive oil was Amazing! The best foccacia I've ever had. Our server actually forgot to serve it and we had to ask another server and were we glad we did! -Warm olives $6 Reminded us of olives we had in Spain! -Bouillabaisse $34 Mussels, shrimp, little necks, halibut, octopus, saffront-fennel broth, grilled baguette, rouille. Mussels, shrimp, little necks were all good size, with tasty and flavorful sauce. -Spaghetti & clams $26 littlenecks, crushed red pepper, garlic white wine broth. Generous amount of clams and delicious although spaghetti was little too al dente. Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch, except for service hiccup. Never saw our server again after taking order. Appreciate their effort to correct it by assigning another wonderful server though. Would love to return and try other interesting dishes on their menu.

I was honored to be invited to the soft opening for Celeste. The experience, service and hospitality was unmatched. I encourage everyone to give this place a try, and as always please remember that the criticism that follows is only for constructive reasons!

I was with a party of 4. We were served focaccia bread with oil. The focaccia bread was very tasty as was the oil. However, I would have preferred the focaccia served warm.

For apps, we ordered the whipped feta, calamari and the potato & rosemary pizza. Everything was packed with flavor and outstanding!

For entrees, I ordered the burger and the other 3 in my party ordered the ribeye, chicken Milanese sandwich and pasta genovese. The caramelized onion jam complemented the delicious patty perfectly. It was truly one of the best burgers I have tasted in my life. I was also able to sample the Chicken Milanese sandwich which was also spectacular. I did not taste the ribeye or the pasta genovese, but both dishes looked fantastic and received high praise from the people who ordered them!

Lastly was dessert. We chose the almond cornmeal cookie. To be completely honest, I did not think it was good. It was very dry and had a saw dust like texture. I think this dessert could be drastically improved served warm and topped with ice cream.

Despite not enjoying the dessert, the restaurant still gets a 5 star rating in my books. The warm welcoming, great service and delicious apps and entrees make me excited to go back to Celeste many times...
