I honestly don't know if I went to a different Burlington than these other reviewers, but this store was an absolute nightmare. I thought they were going out of business! The place is huge and only has enough inventory to fill maybe 1/4th of the store. They do have a decent amount of clothing options so if that's what you're going for you might have better luck than I did. I started in the handbag section which was rack after empty rack, maybe 15 bags total strewn about among a dozen large racks. The beauty section was a huge is area with one or two barely filled, messy shelves. The shoes were literally tossed onto wire racks and were not even remotely organized by the size that the racks indicated. Every single aisle was an absolute disaster. It was dark and dreary, no music playing, and other than the cashier, I only saw one other associate the entire time I was there and she looked miserable- can't blame her.
After walking a lap around the outer edge of the store I exited pretty quickly and won't be back. I'll...

The Burlington Store (once Coat Factory) is either in the process of going out of business or people are living behind the wall that cuts the store nearly in half. The shelves are empty. The worthwhile items to buy(purses, shoes, discount name brand career attire, and more) are a mere shell of their former self. And while on this topic....Baby Depot RIP.

If you look a bit further, you can see the silhouette of the once lively animal singing Bugaboo Creek which has since long moved on.
Nice selection...
Read moreWhen you see a line of 15(!) people at checkout and immediately close down all but one register you’re just being deliberately inconvenient. This is basic retail. Waiting 29 minutes to check out five items was a ridiculous waste of my time.
Management needs to hire and pay better. It’s a store the size of a football field and shock among shock, that means you can’t staff it with two people.
Burlington is clearly cost cutting by lean staffing and hurting their employees. Get your act together and treat them right instead of making 2 people face 15 angry customers stuck in a line for half an hour.
Update: Got home to find garment tags unremoved and they say the only way to deal with it is to come back. I'm just throwing it out and never coming back to this god forsaken store.
gotta love it when you wait half an hour and they still send you out with...
