Bad experience at this location..... First off I NEVER write a review but wanted to share my experience.
I walked into Subway and NO one was in there so I ordered a simple turkey sub. Sub gets made and I go to pay. They swipe my card and its DECLINED. So naturally I say "that's strange but I have been using it a lot maybe their is a fraud alert. Here try this one."
Card number 2 declined. Now I know its impossible for that card to be declined and I told them it had to be their system. They began arguing that they just checked out 5 other people and their system was fine and started pointing the finger at me like I don't know how to manage my funds. They wanted me to give them a third card.
To humor them, I gave them an additional card which carries a $0 balance at all times and is an emergency card.... DECLINED... BUT WAIT its still MY fault. FINALLY a customer walks in and I said "lets see what happens to her"
She goes to pay with a card and its DECLINED! She had cash so was able to pay and leave.
Now 20-30 minutes after I enter this place (the sub wasn't even for me, I was bringing it to my girlfriend on break) they do a hard refresh on the computer and tell me it'll take 10 minutes. Since I don't have cash, I wait for the refresh. FINALLY the computer is up and running. What happens when I pay...... DECLINED!
Now I am frustrated and want to leave..... my bill was $9.80 so what happens next..... THEY WOULDNT EVEN COMP THE SUB. THEY TOOK IT BACK ALONG WITH MY DRINK!
40minutes of my time and they kept the sub they will throw away because THEIR system was down and they were incapable of finding a solution. Now my girlfriends break is over and she is most likely hangry.
I drove to Main street and had the sub made at that location and guess what.... CARED WAS APPROVED!
I will now never return to this subway. I also have over 2,000 subway points I tried to pay with so I could leave and the computer was broken with those...
Read moreGuessing that the girl who made our subs was new? First problem, she really didn't seem to understand English. We ordered a meatball sub and an Italian sub. The meatball was pretty straight forward, though she toasted it when I asked her not to. The Italian sub was a nightmare. The order was "Italian with everything but hots". She looked confused, said, "Veggie sub?". No. Then she asked me what kind of meat she should put on it, as if she never heard of an italian sub. I said I really don't know (the sub was for someone who wasn't with us). Eventually her co-worker told her "BMT" whatever that is. She put about 10 cents worth of salami and pepperoni on it. Then she asked what veggies went on it... I said, "I don't know...everything but hots is what he asked for". She gestured to the veggies and said "EVERYTHING??" Clearly he does not want EVERYTHING in the buckets, so one by one I had to say, yes, some of that, no, none of that. THEN she put HOTS on it. When I asked if this was a new job, she just grinned for a few seconds and then said "Huh?" I said never mind. It was difficult but I was polite, though I am sure I would have been better off if I went behind the counter and made the sub myself. Her English speaking co-worker did not help, other than to ring us out. I guess I just expect that every sub shop on the east coast should know what an Italian sub is, and not being able to communicate just made things way too difficult. I was the only customer and it took her almost 15 minutes, with my explicit instructions, to make two subs. I will not be back at this location if I can possibly avoid it... $12 for two subs and a headache. That being said, the subs tasted ok, which was the only redeeming thing about the experience. Go to the main street location, they know how to make an Italian sub,...
Read moreFirst time stopping here and the 8 bucks i spent on a sandwich were wasted... It was fine the girl put toppings on there like there was a massive lettuce/spinach shortage in the world but, then I unwrap my sandwich to find, rather than a sandwich, i had all the pieces to make a sandwich haphazardly stacked together and then shoddily wrapped. I couldnt even pick it up before...
