Pictures don't lie... Look at mine. I trusted CAS to wrap removable roof on my C6 Corvette. Three hundred cash seemed like a decent deal. Within 24 hours of getting the car back the wrap began bubbling up. I brought it back to them the next day, they quickly released the bubble and stretched the material back. Went back home. When I got home 30 minutes later the bubble had come back. I drove two more separate times back to their shop to fix this problem. They were kind enough in person, the problem I was up against was that I was moving to Florida in just a few days. They admitted they couldn't fix it in time. But offered to make good on their work. They said if I paid for the shipping of the roof back to them that they'd fix it and pay for the return shipping. Or they would send me the 3M material to redo the wrap locally without charge. Once I was in Florida and the car was shipped to me, I was out of sight and out of mind. Every call I made to them went ignored. They knew my number and wouldn't ever pick up, and would never return my call. On their Facebook page they posted pictures of my Corvette, when the wrap looked good. So I messaged them and asked for help. They ignored me and deleted my messages. I then added the pictures shown here. They removed the photos and comments within 24 hours and blocked me from adding any further comments. I tried again calling and even faxing them. All went unanswered. I tried everything I could to get them to just talk to me. I left messages that I would like to come to some sort of an agreement on how to fix this. They ignored me every time. Make your own choice whether you want to trust them to work on your car. I actually liked the guys there initially, but since then I have a different opinion. I understand it's hard to be a small business, and I was willing to work with them to solve their problem. They actually had a huge opportunity to make a bad situation into a positive one. I would be writing a glowing review rather than this negative one. Their work quickly failed and they knew it, but chose to keep my money and to ignore me since I moved out of state. I have waited months, and am now resorting to social media to let others know. I belong to local NH Corvette Clubs who appreciate being forewarned about such things, I'll let them know. I personally had a bad experience with them you might have better luck.
[In response to CAS] "Chris, you brought us a damaged vehicle which you are fully aware of. "
I paid you extra to fix the scratches on the roof. You originally quoted me $200, then it went to $300 to do more than wrap it. You said you could fix it. Why would you have worked on it otherwise? You also told me you had done an Audi with similar issues and it came out great!
"We warned you that the dent your vehicle must be fixed so the wrap can look good."
You warned me? I brought it to you so you would FIX the scratches and then wrap it. It is a removable transparent roof (GM part number: 12499572), it does not dent. It's called "crazing", which are micro-fractures in the Lexan plastic. Yes, you tried three times to fix bubbling , I'm not saying you didn't try. But you knew I was moving and told me you would still help me - you were going to help solve it even though I was moving. Jim told me in person that once I got to Florida to reach out and that you would help. You suggested me sending you the roof, you would fix it and return it (I'd pay shipping to you, you would pay shipping back). Once I got to Florida I suggested less costly resolutions to save you the expense of shipping.
What bothers me most is you purposely ignored me. You could have just as easily contacted me and offered a solution. If you decide to do that, great! I'll remove this...
Read moreWhere do I start? I will start with this shop EXCEEDED my expectations!!! I live about 3hrs away in north central Vermont and actually went to other shops like this one to talk and research finding someone who not only sold but install carplay's. I knew what I needed and like and the price range and also prior customer reviews. The three I research had good reviews but were very expensive for product and installation and to me their attitudes were slightly condescending. When I call and talk to the owner of Car Audio Solutions it was a no brainer!!!! Not only was he patient with all my questions and concerns!!! He was very courteous and got me in for sales and service within that week while the others would have me wait anywhere from 1-2 months!!! His price for the carplay with installation was nearly half what the other two shops wanted to charge!!! I also asked for some late minute additional items added which he had in his shop like steering wheel control for the volume. Once he was was finish he sat down in the vehicle explaining everything to know about how to use and patiently taking all questions from me important or self evident. I agree with all the positive reviews he has and will DEFINITELY return for any additional car audio upgrades I can...
Read moreRonnie is the man. I called him up and explained I bought a head unit from crutchfield and asked if he could put it in. We made an appointment and everything went better than expected.
I went tonight (friday) at 3:30pm and asked if there was anyway he could get it done by tomorrow before noon because the wife made plans that I was not aware of until after the appointment was made. Ronniw told me he had it under control and by 7:30 pm friday it was done. Didnt even bother having me wait until saturday and worry about cutting it close.
The install was perfect, kept all facotry steering wheel controls intact as well as the usb port and 3.5 mm jack. Super clean and professional install. I will definitely be back with other cars and I will be recommending this shop to anyone I know looking for work to be done. Im very happy with my results and am starting to see what else I can get done.
Thank you Ronnie for the awesome service. I...
