Depending upon the time of day- afternoon is best- the food is excellent here. Make sure to enjoy it all with an ice cold Presidente beer. Be prepared to brush up on your Spanish speaking skills but you should be okay just by pointing. I like this place but my doctor tells me to stay away. Regardless, I make the occasional trip. Service is almost always very slow here- they are chatty, mostly with themselves. So, if you are in a hurry, forget it.

I love the Hispanic culture and used to play Spanish softball in Lawrence, MA. I used to eat at the Tipico there where it first started. Good food, clean and friendly place in Nashua, NH. The prices are reasonable, usually for one dinner, it cost me $10-12.

El TĆpico Restaurant is an absolute treasure for anyone craving authentic Dominican and Caribbean flavors in a warm, family-friendly setting. I recently stopped in for lunch, and I was blown away by the quality, portion size, and overall experience.

From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was welcomed into someone’s home. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, taking time to explain dishes and offer recommendations. The menu has a fantastic selection of Dominican staples, and everything is clearly made with care and love.

I ordered the pernil (roast pork) with rice, beans, and sweet plantains. The pork was incredibly tender and flavorful, with a perfectly crispy edge. The rice and beans were comforting and full of depth, and the plantains added just the right amount of sweetness. Everything tasted fresh and homemade. My friend had the pollo guisado (stewed chicken), and it was equally amazing—rich, savory, and satisfying.

The portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality and amount of food you get. We also had fresh juice that was refreshing and naturally sweet.

El TĆpico Restaurant is a place I’ll definitely be coming back to. If you're looking for real, soul-warming food and kind, welcoming service, this spot is...

Be aware when using your credit card when buying food at this place, I have gotten charged twice by them saying me, " that your car did not go through, please reinsert", me knowing that the register accepted my transaction because I saw it on the monitor screen when I finished paying. At this time I paid no mine of it, but I had gut feeling That something was wrong, so I decided to check my bank account for any transactions, and sure enough, they charge me twice for the food. I went back to the manager showing him the transactions on my phone asking him why did they charge me twice, so he said it was a mistake, and to wait a week for the bank to give me my refund which it never happened, and him being rude about it. I waited two week just to give him enough time to refund my money back and they never refunding me my money. So I had to call my bank and file a complaint which after a week I got my money back. This also happened to one of my coworkers that went to get food at this restaurant. I suggest if you're paying by card, Do not reinsert your card check your back statement to make sure the charges went through. Be safe and know what you're paying for. If you can, pay cash. Be...

One of the best parts about going to Puerto Rico is the food and living in NH, you'd never expect to be able to even come close to the authentic food of PR. All I can say is after trying the Mofongo I can't wait to try so much more from El Tipico. I wasn't even hungry when I ordered and took it home but it was so good let's just say there's not a lot left for my dinner tonight 🫢 Not only is the food incredible, staff was super friendly and what they've done inside is just as impressive as the food. I highly recommend especially if you're looking for something different than the typical food many of us are used to being able to get from restraunts in this...
