I had just awakened and stopped to buy cigarettes before I quit and the girl who was going to sell them to me cut me while trying to take them back for some reason. Could have been her fake fingernail, a knife , I dont know but I was bleeding a lot from a gash in one of my fingers. I got so shook up I dropped my auto key and it rebounded out of sight. I could not find it, had no close by friends to help me so I called officers of the law to help.Next thing I knew even though I still had a twenty dollar bill in my hand that I had tried to hand her the cops were saying the girl said that I tried to steal rhe cigarrattes.When they watched the video and couldn't make that attempted theft stick due to lack of evidence the cops decided to arrest me for PI when I was completely sober. Because of that cashier and no drug or alcohol test I went to Brazos County jail for 24 hours for nothing.I had medications that I needed to sleep well but without them I stayed up most the time in shock. I was in a tiny room with a big window a Crack in the floor and no toilet paper with men prisoners passing bythe window looking at me pee and laughing and pointing . Poop on my hand . I was humiliated with cruel and inhuman punishment. I then was sent to a mental ward to dry out from zero intoxication for two weeks and lost my apartment ,my animals, had to pay fines impoundment release of 1500.00.So thank you Exxon.Your clerk intimidated, cut me and lied. Owner (Father) is a super-friendly, respectful, & caring person. He treats each & every customer like family. He has a soft & caring heart, that allows him to be extremely passionate and helpful as a store owner in the community. In turn, the community respects him; which allows for a friendly, respectful, & professional relationship between the Owner and the community. His sons however, are at times very disrespectful. They neglect the customers that are in the store. There are many instances where they are on their cell phones talking & will literally keep a customer waiting at the counter for several minutes, showing them no professionalism or respect. They have been very mouthy (using profanity) towards customers in an instance of a disagreement. I've also witnessed one of the sons tell a customer a price for a product the customer inquired about. When the customer then decided to purchase the item, the son rang it up and it priced at $1.30 more then what he quoted him for it less then 2 mins prior. Instead of him biting the difference for the sake of the customer because "he" priced it incorrectly, he in turn began arguing with the customer & ultimately threw him out of the store. Cp and staff are always friendly. They sell anything and everything. From groceries, snacks and beer to movies, and even a mini smoke shop like most bodegas nowadays. Not the best neighborhood or look from outside but 100% better than the former...
