Meatville Smoking what can I say?
I went in blindly and had no real clue what to expect. They have good parking and are located in an area easy to access from the main road. The inside of the restaurant is very comfortable, lots of table seating available and booth seating. You are able to sit and have a waiter serve you or order at the hot bar. Waiter service is what we did. The drinks are all served by the bottle(soft drinks and water).
We ordered the appetizer sampler with grape leaves, three dips(hummus, baba ghanoush, smoked feta) and crispy bread. We waited quite a bit for the sampler to come to the table. I really enjoyed the hummus. Normally I love grape leaves but these I didn’t care for much. Apparently tomato flavoring is something they add to their grape leaves and I’m not a fan. Also they are warm. The kicker for this situation was a lack of crunchy bread to dip into the dips. Somehow that was not brought to the table at the same time or shortly after.
We received our side items(most of them) I ordered the Greek Salad, and garlic wedges(just potatoes nicely cooked and seasoned) to go with my smoked beef shank. My partner ordered colorful carrots (didn’t come out), and tabbouleh salad with the smoked lamb leg. Both meats were the 1/2 pound sizes.
Everything tasted good, but service was somewhat frustrating. Due to some things not coming out when we expected it to(sides with the meals. Bread with the appetizer)
BUT with that being said they were so generous to give us a FREE piece of beef rib which was one of the MOST DELICIOUS MEATS I have had in my life. It was well cooked fatty and juicy, seasoned to perfection. They also didn’t charge us for our drinks, I believe due to the long wait and some things not coming out with the order.
These are people who pride themselves in their food and service and are very happy to make you happy. I highly recommend stopping by for lunch like I did just to give them a try. The beef ribs come highly recommended.

Read moreOur first visit to Meatville was memorable! We went with our family to celebrate my husband’s birthday and overall had a great experience. The food was absolutely delicious—flavorful meats, tasty sides, and the pistachio kunafe with black tea for dessert was the perfect finishing touch. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff (especially the gentleman who seemed to be the owner or manager) worked incredibly hard to make sure everything ran smoothly. We even got a big bone for our dog at the end, which was such a fun surprise!
That said, our first impression when we walked in was a bit confusing. We had made an online reservation for six people and noted it was for a birthday celebration, asking to be contacted if there were any special arrangements available—but we never received a reply. When we arrived, no one greeted us or directed us where to go, so we were left unsure about how the process worked. My husband had to approach a staff member to explain we had a reservation, but no one seemed aware of it. Eventually, he found a table in the celebration section and we got settled.
When ordering, there was a bit of miscommunication about placing the full order at once, but the manager was kind and flexible, and everything went smoothly from there.
At the end of the night, I asked the manager if my husband had already paid, and I mentioned it was his birthday. He kindly offered us complimentary tea as a birthday gesture, which we really appreciated—it was a thoughtful touch.
Overall, I give 5 stars for the food, service, atmosphere, and the hardworking team. We hope the check-in and reservation process can be made smoother, but we’ll...
Read moreOk so just slide through to Meatville and I don't eat meat! 😒 😆 When I walked in, I thought this place is not in Antioch. It's nice and upscale playing piano music. I felt like I needed to dress up. It's really a nice causal dining place you'd take your family too. Comfy and cozy. I'm pescratarian but this place did not disappoint. We ordered the bowls and you can literally stack it with whatever you want. I had yellow rice, lime beans, roasted tomatoes, roasted garlic, roasted carrots, roasted garlic potatoes... that was in one side. The bowls were heavy duty and of great caliber. On the other side I had a more traditional salad with cucumber, lettuce, tomato, onions cheeses, olives, etc. Now the sauces on point... ranch, bbq, garlic, spicy garlic... amazing. They have different seasonings that you can top anything off with. Cleanliness is an understatement. They let you taste almost anything you want... the bread out the oven toasted to perfection. Everything was fresh... down to the juices. I had peach pineapple so don't be afraid to mix it up. The juice was thick fresh and made to order. Will definitely support and be back for the customer service and taste. My friend had the brisket and chicken. They said it was tender and definitely smoked to perfection. We had plenty to pack up and take home. The price isn't bad but it's not fast food nor is it just your ordinary mediocre gyro/lamb spot. It's got class. I'd definitely say let's support... and...
