Roma Pizza & Pasta — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

I really enjoy their Calzones more than anything. Unfortunately, the owner of this store in particular is the rudest business owner I have ever had contact with. I have lived at my residence for 3+ yrs and have ordered from this location at least 50 times (at least twice a month and on some occasion a couple times per week) and have also referred friends who were new to Antioch. About 3 weeks ago I placed my order and the owner asked how i would be paying, the conversation went as follows:

Me: With a Debit Card Him: You need to have your I.D. ready to show my driver when he gets there Me: (not upset but inquisitive) Oh okay, is this something new you all are doing? Him: NO, WE HAVE ALWAYS ASKED FOR I.D. (immediately raising his voice at me, right out of the gate) Me: Well that can't be true because I've ordered from there several times and this is the first time I've been asked that. Him: (still talking very loud AT me, instead of to me like I am not only a paying customer but have spent several hundred dollars at his establishment) IF IT IS YOUR CARD WHY ARE YOU WORRIED ABOUT SHOWING ME YOUR I.D. ?!?!

We went back and forth for a minute. I asked him if my Debit Card which renders a photo picture of me on the front would suffice and he again, still being extremely rude and loud, declined.

It would have been different if they had done this all along or even admitted that it was a new policy but to try to convince me (very rudely) that they had done it all along when I know from experience, for a fact they hadn't, seemed very shady to me. My money is now better spent at "Steak Plus Pizza". Their Calzones are just as good and they serve and DELIVER .. ON TIME.. WITHOUT BEING...

NEVER order here, for the love of god. We ordered on Door Dash through “savory sweets” which we came to realize is just the restaurant’s desert menu under a different name. After waiting an hour and a half for our food that said it was “2 minutes away” we called and the girl that answered was rude, didn’t even know what “savory sweets” was, gave us little to no information and basically told us it was at the door or still be delivered. after another 30 minutes of looking around all the houses around us, the app said it was delivered so we called again, were put on hold immediately, and when someone finally picked up, we were told that it was delivered and there was nothing they could do. we have a doorbell camera and nothing was ever delivered, we even offered to come to the store and pick up the two pieces of cake we had ordered, giving many opportunities for the issue to be made up for in the slightest, to which the man on the phone just replied “i don’t know, i just work here.” we have never been talked down upon so much and basically told we were stupid and it was our fault while our money was been...

I've been on a quest to find some of the best pizza in Nashville, so every week I order a single cheese pizza from one or many places on my list. My thinking is that if they can make a BOMB cheese pizza then they have good pizza.

Tonight I ordered via Postmates. The pizza arrived hot and fresh considering I only live maybe 10 mins away. First glance, I had the slightest inclination of disappointment. Second glance, I was like this is just a mediocre pie. The pizza itself was cut into 10 slices like a MADMAN had cut it! Big slice followed by small slice. They didn't remotely try to make them even.

It was cooked well and had an appropriate amount of cheese and sauce. I go to grab the first slice and nearly yanked the whole pizza out of the box because it wasn't cut all the way through. The first slice was meh, but the second and third had everything I wanted. Nice crunch and the right amount of cheese and sauce. Hardly any grease!

The pizza isn't bad here, but it's not great. I would say it's good budget pizza. 14.99 for a LG...
