I was in Nashville, TN over Labor Day weekend enjoying the fruits of my labor. 🤣 I tried a few plant based restaurants while there. This Vegan restaurant is named Graze, located in East Nashville. I will definitely be back. I almost ordered to go as well🤣🤣🤣🔥 #veganrestaurant #nashville #plantbased #vegan #veganfood

Well off the beaten path (if you’re a tourist) is the all vegetarian / plant-based bistro and bar, Graze, sister restaurant to the also all vegetarian restaurant, The Wild Cow, which is basically next door. We’re always excited to be at a restaurant that is all vegetarian and enjoy the experience of being able to order anything off the menu without asking, so this seemed like a good place to make the trek to from downtown Nashville, especially since it was sort of on the way to the Grand Ole Opry which we had tickets for on this night. In the end our experience was kind of mixed. The place is not as nice as the food pics on their website make it seem (it feels more like a bar with tables than a nice restaurant, and unfortunately, our hostess, who doubled as our waitress didn’t seem happy. She never smiled and left us feeling not so welcome as a result. My wife had the Roasted veggie burrito as bowl which she loved. She thought it was super tasty with a great savory sauce that brought it all together. She couldn’t stop eating it and thought that it was more satisfying as a bowl than it would have been as a burrito. I had the Hot Tempeh sandwich (always looking vegetarian versions of authentic local dishes!) with mashed potatoes on the side. I asked for it mild but it was still fairly hot. It was definitely tasty but a mess. I had to finishing cutting the sandwich in half after they brought it to me, as well as kind of assemble it, as it was served open, and it created quite a mess on the plate and my hands before I could take my first bite. I thought it was good, though, and it was a generous portion that I could only eat half of. The mashed potatoes it came with were very good, chunky, and with skins still on, and a good savory gravy. The food came super quick which is always nice when you’re hungry and on your way elsewhere. They also have beer, cocktails, wine, local gypsum ciders. Although the experience wasn’t perfect, the food was good so I could see visiting again if I was in Nashville.

i was looking for a place to eat lunch in nashville and was swayed by the pictures of the food ! the location was a tiny bit tricky to find, but the restaurant itself is very warm and inviting. when i showed up it was around 12:00 and there was a short (~15 min?) wait before being seated. besides the short wait, the food came out appropriately for how busy it was. the caesar salad was interesting, and i enjoyed graze’s interpretation of the classic caesar. the sundried tomatoes were a nice touch. i was between a few menu items but ordered the hot tempeh sandwich with a side of tarragon chickpea salad. the tempeh was fairly spicy and went well with the other crunchier textures in the sandwich. the chickpea salad was a surprise, but a good one. i loved the addition of the grapes in the salad. for dessert i ordered a lemon raspberry slice with some vanilla ice cream. the ice cream had a realistic texture and i enjoyed the strong lemon and raspberry flavors coming through the cake. the food was all great, and the staff were friendly. overall, i would definitely recommend trying out graze if given the chance.

Graze was so delicious that we are here twice in two days. We went for dinner and we were not disappointed at all. From the moment we walked in everyone was so friendly. Yazmín was one of our servers and she is so friendly, helpful, and knowledge not only about the excellent food they had, but about activities that are available in the area. She helped is figure out since really great activities to do for celebrating our anniversary and we enjoyed each suggestion. We also had another wonderful server our second night there, but unfortunately I did not ask for her name.

We were so hungry when we went in both nights that we ordered quite a few items. The first night we ordered the chorizo queso dip with chips, 2 virgin Bloody Marys, the Bourbon BBQ Sandwich, the Hot Tempeh Sandwich and French fries. We also took the Green Chile Burrito to go for breakfast the next morning!

The second evening we had to repeat the virgin Bloody Marys, then tried the Cheesy Roasted Potatoes (added on the fully loaded option that was totally worth it), the Citrus Caesar Salad with tempeh bacon, the Tofu Chk'n Sandwich buffalo style, and French fries again. The ranch dressing is absolutely amazing and many would never know it's vegan ranch.

Everything was so delicious. If we lived in the area we would for sure be regulars! Again, our servers were completely on their A game! From the time we walked in to when we left, we enjoyed every moment and every bite. I also love that Grade is a sit down establishment and not a fast casual. We definitely need more sit down vegan restaurants, especially ones with great staff.

Needless to say, we will certainly be back any time we are in the...

Hands down, the BEST vegan/plant-based we've been to!

We visited Nashville in Feb 2021, and at the time this gem was open for pick up and delivery only. You can walk in to order, or call ahead. Unfortunately, Google Maps was not updated to reflect these limitations, and we arrived thinking the dining room was open. No problem, though! There is plenty of outdoor seating if you decide to stick around.

We were starving and ready to put this place to the test. I ordered a Chirizo Con Papas Burrito and a side of Kale Quinoa salad. The burrito was perfectly seared, seitan filling and gravy were packed with the right seasons to make this dish a WINNER!

My wife had Chik'n Bacon Ranch Club with a side of seasoned potatoes. We ordered the ChoriQueso with chips appetizer. My wife loved the club, but the ChoriQueso had us both licking the container and destroying the chips!

For dessert, we had the Oatmeal Cream Pie and a slice of the Red Velvet Cake. The cream pie were to huge cookies held together with a rich cream. The cookies were a little on the dry side, but nothing a little water couldn't help. It was SMASHED in minutes! The cake we had to take back since we were already grotesquely full from all that goodness. We ate it as soon as we had a smidgen of room, and boy, we didn't regret it. So rich and creamy and delightful!

If you are in the Nashville area, do yourself a favor and visit Graze Nashville! I promise you won't just...
